I have recently advertised this car then didn't worry about it but now I have a little one on the way and the car is just not practical anymore, hense the price drop, needs to go. (unhappy sale), Details below:

    Make/Model: 1989 Nissan Z32 300zx 2+2 Targa

Engine/Aspiration: 3 Litre V6 Twin Turbo (108,000km on the Odometer)

Transmission: 5 Speed Manual with Short Shift

Have not got a dino graph or time slip for drags but through on road testing, once set up for the drags (i.e. up the boost, micky tompson tyres and remove useless weight) it is easily a 12 second car.
For example: bald tyres on the street with completely corroded upper wiring harness, not service for near 10k kms and massively out of tune, a full car and stock boost I still pulled a mid 13. (accurately marked out and timed by a friend who is a retired top door slammer)
Don't worry all wiring issues are now sorted out and the car has recenlty had a full service and tune. The car runs like a dream appart from the oxy sensors but as the 300's have a base rating of .4 they are not really needed, car running fine without them. Cost $200-$240 installed if you like.

    Colour: Burgundy

Long list of Modifications: Examples Below:

Monster Front Mount Intercooler (Dual Core, Quad Pipe) 600mm x 300mm x 100mm
Centre mounted Defi gauges (Oil & water temp, Oil pressure)
Nardi drift wheel wheel and sparco gear nob, race pedals
Aftermarket Suspension, Bee Racing Street/Track (very solid)
White Line Strut braces front and back, rear is adjustable
Aftermarket Racing Brakes RSBSRSS Slotted & Cross Drilled Rotors with Performance Pads
Twin Plate Ceramic Button Clutch with short shift kit
Full Bomex Body Kit with rare Spoiler (only of 20 in the world)
19" Light Weight Mags Shadow Chrome Finish (slight gutter rash on a couple)
    Flared/rolled Guards Back and Front
    245 x 35 x 19 Performance Tyres all Round, Front (10km tread) Rear (new)
Full shock sensitive Alarm System including Remote Central Locking and Remote Start, remote has up to 1.5km reach
    Alpine CD/MP3 head unit
    Amongst other things.

There are a few imperfections with the car (Stone Chips on Kit and needs good cut and polish) but very minor and the list of mods makes up for it.

The car has just ran out of rego in Tas a couple of weeks ago but the renewal of that will come out of the asking price.

    Email me for pics.

Selling for $12,000 minus 6 months rego.
Will deliver anywhere in TAS once payment has been received/confirmed.

If you are or know of anyone who would be interested or if you want more info please email at tas_300zx@hotmail.com me or call me on 0424170997

    Swap plus cash is possible

Thanks for the responses on the car so far, here is another option I will entertain.

I will be willing to swap something cheap but reliable like VP commodore, Lancer or something similar as long as it is 4 door, manual and regestered plus some cash.

I would be looking at something like $10,000 and a car so the swapped car would be valued at around $4000. As my Zed is worth a bit more then $12,000, if I was going for this option the price goes up slightly as is expected. You would still be getting a bargain.

I have had one offer already but waiting on pics for that so the deal is still on the table.

One thing I missed in the description is that the left fog light (still works) is bustered from something falling off a car in front of me. Minor damage to the kit just requiring a little fiberglass ($100 if done yourself, its easy).

If you have an offer like this with pics just email them to me.

    A little more info

Just wanted to give a little more info about the car and its heath.

If anyone knows Tassie then they will know what I am talking about distance wise.

Drove to Hobart and back from Launceston and around Hobart (to Bellerive and Sandy Bay and Wrestpoint) for a couple of hours. Approximately 450 - 500km worth on half a tank.

Water temp sits at a steady 70 - 75 degrees, rarely tops 80 as I do not flog the car around. May get to 90 if you take it on the track for a trash.

Oil temp sits at around 80 - 85 degrees, rarely tops 90 unless, as above you trash it round. The oil pressure sits at a steady 1.5 - 2 at idle and sits at around 3.5 - 4.5 at cruising speed either on the street or highway.

As stated there are Defi gauges so this is easy to keep an eye on.

All this is helped by the fact that it has a near new radiator, new performance water pump and nice cool spark plugs (#8) for a colder bang.
Also the rewiring of the up wiring harness and replacement of the plugs improves flow and consistency of current/charge making all this more effective.

If you want more details or pics just PM me with your email and I will send them onto you.

    New Photos

Below is a link to some pics I have of the car and I will add some more over the next couple of days. Not all are the best but show the car in different light so thought they were worth putting up.

I am tacking on the statement of "Open to offers" to the sale. Highest offer gets the car.

    More pics and price drop

I have added more pics to the album I had provided a link to in my last post.

    He it is again.

    http://cid-fcbff123324d222a.spaces.live.com/?lc=1033
Click on the pic that come up to get more control of the slideshow.

You can see the slight damage on the front bar in one of the pics and as you can see I have covered with gaffer tape to protect from any futher damage like spreading and what not.

There is also a price drop to $11,000 plus rego. Open to offers.
Although the cost of the rego will no longer come out of the asking price, as I have links in the automotive industry I will do what I can to get any work or parts for less then average. I just havn't done it for myself as the costmetics of my car are not as important to me as mechanical/performance and life's little joys in the way of bills and so on.

    Update

I will be renewing the rego on the car this week or next so the car is now no longer unregistered.

The car will be registered until mid July and ready to drive away.

The price is still $9,500 (now WITH rego) and I am still open to offers.

    update 2

The admin would not let me edit this into the last post, ran out of time. so here it is.

Just a little more info about the car is that it is perfectly fine as an everyday drive but is primarily setup for track as the suspension is very still with very short travel and the wheels have large camber.

This results in pin point handling to match that of most high end sports cars. Gives them a good run for their money (or out does them) in a straight line too.

Perfect for the person who has always wanting a car to take to the shop in the morning then to the track in the arvo.

Despite this I need to get rid of it as I have a kid due in a couple of months and the car just is not practical and I need to down grade. S%#t. :(
