hey I found this it looks like they started of with the head lights and rebuilt from there. Also I was told by a guy who owned a Z that 300zx headlight are the same as lamborghini diablo headlights is that true ??
Not quite right. Lambo Diablo used 300zx lights. We saw one on a cruise and the NISSAN wording at the top of the light is covered over by a carbon strip. Looked like a factory setup, not an aftermarket addition. We were well pleased :biggrin: .
Yea, they added those CF shrouds over the lights in the factory... I guess they didn't want NISSAN on their parts

It is not/never was for sale. :bash: :biggrin: It's owned by Nissan and was never offered for sale. The only reason it was built was the LeMans rules at the time stated that the race cars must be based on a car that is able to be driven on public roads. So Nissan made a road version so that the race versions were allowed in the race. I know where you read that it was/is for sale, I expect that what was actually being said by the people showing the visitors around the Zama storage facility was mis translated. Yes.. the diablo used nissan headlights and covered up the name (how cheep) Yes its a cool thing to know about your zed no it doesn't make your zed worth more or go faster ...hmm.... unless you're on a Lambo site and see "WTB: Headlights" lol. That doesn't shock me. I've never been able to understand why they used those lights on the Diablo, nor why Pagani decided to use them. They scream cheap, and detract terribly from the rest of the car
