    Hi guys.

I have a heater core for sale, it is from the group buy Rob260 organised.
The heater core has never been fiited and never been used.

It is new, but as the pic shows, there is a few marks on it.

Is this a straight fitment or does it need some mods. Sorry if it's been answered elsewhere but I've been out of the loop for a while and didn't see the group buy.

I'll take it pending an answer to the above.

Please let me know what postage to 5125 will be.

It will need some mods to fit. You will need to remove the heater box to fit as some internal ribs will have to be trimmed a little. Not too hard, used the sam type of core from the same GB on Macman's Z.

so does the mods to the box prevent fitment of an OEM one in the future or is is just minor mods?

If it's just minor stuff then thats fine I just don't like mods that can't be reversed if needed.

You have to remove material. If you put a genuine core back in it would 'flop' around a little bit. Nothing that you couldn't fix with a bit of clever thinking though.

didn't you say you fitted the heater core to the car already? Or do you have a few of them lying around?

No, I have fitted one of the same design. Chirkhoff's is brand new
