i'm with just cars cos they're the ONLY people who will insure me. Although i have a non-turbo, i'm 19 and it's imported which rules out almost all other insurers. Rather pricey but yeah.

    Hey mate,

I'm in the insurance brokerage world so I might be able to give ya a little bit of direction.....

With any imports or turbo cars barely anyone but Just Cars will insure you UNLESS you're over 25 and then you can go to specialized insurance company's but even then you're going to be paying a high premium so basically whatever premium they offer you pretty much gotta deal with hey. If you own like a Subaru I've found that RAC will occasionally insure people too.

Even though I have special access to insuring myself cheaply and easily I still have HUGE difficulty insuring my 450HP Skyline. $3000 excess for anyone that drives my car

Its a shame about the premiums but its what we gotta deal with being in the world of loving cars!

But hey, Paying under $400 on Third Party Property Damage is good, Paying under $600 for Third Party, Fire & Theft is good, and paying under $1,500 for full comprehensive is good so if you fall under any of those premiums you're doing well! :)

plus with just car you get weird promo stuff in the mail, like small blue underpants.. good for polishing.

Famous Insurance which also recently acquired Young & Cool should insure you.

I am one of the more 'senior' in age terms probably! (50 next birthday)!

I have just had my insurance reminder come through from Hotline, these guys are on the web, they are linked to Ozicare.

I have a J spec 92 Zed, they have all the details regarding the 'goodies' such as wheels, sounds, twin turbo etc, it is insured fully comp with myself and wife as named drivers, Standard excess of $500, window glass excess of $300, unlisted driver $500 excess also. Lifetime guarantee on repairs, you can nominate your repairer, Hire car costs following theft, personal property cover, 20 mill. liability cover. No forms even if you claim!

I have full no claims and the cost is $490.11 which is taken striaght from the bank when it is due so no worries about never being insured.
