Hey guys, anyone had any overheating issues today?

    Reached 39.8degrees after lunch today.

Just say im glad i put in a new radiator and temp gauge. The hottest i got up to was 88 degrees with a/c full in traffic. Then down to 78ish on the fwy.

    Just got home

driving home both windows down stinking hot drank 2ltrs cold water just on the trip home.
Cause I was in my daihatsu truck with the 2.8ltr diesel heater under the seat and not my nice fully serviced Z with its nice new PWR radiator that kept it beautifully cool yesterday.

Any recommendations as to where to buy a new/better radiator in Perth? Not feeling too confidant with my stock one right now.

    heat

i was driving around yesterday looking at cars and my z ran fine, clutch struggled a bit though, drove home 500km this morning and sweet as, didn't miss a beat
but yesterday evening i was putting new wheels on it and i nearly melted, 45deg c sitting on hot concrete using a stock z jack, and those things truly suck, i forgot to put my small trolly jack in the car :bash:

    ha, Franz

yeah, thanks for the offer, i should have mentioned it lol, but i didn't think the 10" rims and 265 tyres would fit in the car, in the end it would have been easier to try it and find out, even if i had to put them back on, but the rims i got from you run sweet Franz, thanks once again, you're a true gentleman
    cheers

The track temperature late this afternoon was 47 degrees. Start melting at that temperature.

I drove from Melbourne to Brisbane in my 89T in the peak of summer, it reached 45 degrees one point at one of the stops in nth nsw according to the led panel thingo. The temp gauge didn't move the entire trip and it was a fairly "spirited" drive to say the least! lol I did the trip in about 16 hours or so.

CHARiZMA was sound asleep all day in the garage...I was indoors most of the day as well...bugger going outside for a joke...lucky it's cooling down over the week and the weekend ahead looks nice...

But yeah, coolant flush this weekend I think...and oil change is due...get her ready for this blistering heat...

    Cheers
    Rob.

Dont think I'll be having any problems this summer. Driving hard in the middle of all that heat the highest coolant temps I got were 82deg. Average running temp is now 78-79deg  No aircon needed.
