Looking for a suitable replacement for 17" tyres: I'm considered Z1 MAXXIS, NEXEN 3000's, Bridgestone ADRENALIN's or replacing with FEDERAL 595's again.

Current FEDERAL's were 2nd hand with the ex CandyZ rims, not bad in most conditions whilst they had some tread  They are the cheapest option for replacement.

MAXXIS are proven* good in the wet (*Choice Mag) although we don't have a lot of wet.... do we? Front 235/45's are well priced but rear 255/40's come in a bit dear for something untested on a Zed.

NEXENS are liked by many Zedders and mid-range in price.

What I really would like is some feed back on Bridgestone Adrenalin's:p

At circa $1200 a set they are the dearest option but local Dealer tells me they perform superbly on cars like GTR's and Zeds where boost may come on in cornering (that's me) :p .... they were apparently developed to diminish side-stepping or understeer as per ad/LINK above.

So, without getting into a debate on which YOU think is best, are there any Members who may've fitted Adrenalins and can report their findings? :zlove: :zlove: :zlove:

I have Federal 452's. Cost about $1200 a set of 17's. REALLY very good, very sticky and much better than the other Federals in the wet. Much better than the Yokohama's I used to have as well

I have Adrenlians on all 4's. 225/45/17's on the front 255/40/17's on the rear. They have been a massive improvement over my old Falken tyres. I used to spin the wheels through 1st and 2nd sometimes but with the new tyres, I spin 1st still but 2nd grips up quite nicely :)

I haven't been around the mountain with them yet but they stick like hell going around corners.

Hi K-Zed, I currenty have Nankang NSII whick I need to replace 2 of them. I probably will get Nexen 3000 which I have on my corvette also. I have had the Federal ss595 before and I am happy with the Nexen 3000 - they went okay over winter..
