Any sugestions about a good source for a set of standard injectors for a 1990 NA would be a great help.

260cc to 280cc, I've seen different values quoted.

Definately take up AZA's offer on those second hand injectors, if they're good then they're good. It's not really logical to spend almost $1,000 replacing stock injectors in my opinion unless the car simply must stay stock and you cant find any cheaper second hand. You can buy some big ass aftermarket injectors for the same price as stock replacements...

With all the effort to replace the injectors with a plenum pull etc, I don't see the point of putting in 2nd hand ones that would probably be 17 years old and may fail electrically any day..They wouldn't be any better than the ones you already have.

I have had 2 of my injectors fail by going open circuit.. No amount of cleaning will prevent that.

I wouldn't bother with upgraded injectors from the stock size on an NA.. It's not like you can up the boost.. And the hassle of getting the ECU remapped to suit just isn't cost effective for the zero gain you'll get.

Look around Aus for a new set of injectors but I couldn't get any locally.

Use 2nd hand ones if you can get 'em cheap and you don't mind replacing them when each one fails. I'll be getting a full set from Coz and replace them all at once. Do the job once and do it properly. :)

    Happy Zedding!

    Cheers,
    Dave.

Surely Z32 injectors aren't that shit? I've got 20 year old injectors still going strong in my Z31s...

You wouldn't think there would be too much of a problem with 'em but I have had 2 fail and a 3rd that is on it's way out. They are affected heat, ie when they get hot they open circuit and stop working until they cool down again.

May be just an NA issue though.

Heat affected electrical components in a Zed isn't too uncommon though..:(

    Dave.

Interesting that the injector thats failed hasnt gone open circuit. All the others read about 12 ohms. The crook one reads 70 ohms. Has anyone seen this B4?

For a stock NA I wouldnt bother, there's lots of work to be done before more fuel is going to be needed for an NA motor. My head was in the clouds when I suggested to look at upgrading instead of paying top dollar for new oem ones. I forgot he had an NA...

For a super dooper crazy NA, you could go for TT injectors, they are 370's and more than enough to support over 250rwkw.
