yes because they are from the US and therefore designed for LHD and the drivers side header when used in a RHD car clashes with the steering rack.
PM member Lance, not sure how often he visits but has done this a while ago, he might shed some light on how he done it
Is there some reason why you seem reluctant to take these to a recommended exhaust specialist(particularly as there is one close to where you live)? You are asking for advice, but you don't appear to want to accept the advice given.:zlove:
Most exhaust shops carry spare nuts and plugs. If the original nut does not foul the steering you could just screw in a plug and weld a new nut in the correct position. We fitted a LHD set to a 350Z and we had to heat and move the pipes on the drivers side by about 10mm for clearance. Not sure if the 300zx sets are the same. Cheers Greg
so do you have a shop greg? and im going to do it, i gotta save some more money, ive already spent a fair bit on purchasing the extractors then paying a mechanic $200 to say hey they wont fit, offered to either plug the hole and have no sensor or fit the oldies
