i brought a set of xs power extractors for the non turbo z, the type they sell at uas, now i took em to a mechanic to install, and he said they cant go on because the exhaust sensor cant go on because of the location of the steering rack on one side!, any one had this problem? any way around it?

im guessing they are for a left hand drive car    due to the location of the steering rack
Any headers from the U.S wont fit our cars

    Go to an exhaust shop!

And get the sensor nut moved and just block the old one! Shouldnt cost to much and they will have the equipment to mod them if need be. Should take too much effort to move the sensor nut, and any good exhaust place will be able to do it!

    Don't think it's that easy??

I think you'll find it's a little more than just moving the O2 sensor..........the steering arm on a RH drive car will most probably hit the collector on the driver side with a US set!!........it's only a matter of about 10mm or so but it's still enough to cause issues! :(

if they are the type they sell at uas

then it is just a matter of moving the o2 sensor.

i don't know if mine had an xs power badge on them

but the ones i had on my car were bought from UAS and required the o2 sensor plug hold to be moved
