20k for an aus spec is in the high bracket but some ppl are prepaired to pay over 15k for a mint zed.

an australian delieverd car with 90k on the dial means it could be in very good condition for age.. try something like 5200kms of traveling per year!!! the fact it has books to prove the milage means its got pedigree no doubt.

you can pay 10k for a zed thats got a 200-300,000kms and that needs 5-6k of work no worries.

if you see in the pics the car is dead straight and the rubbers have no sun damage even after 17 years!

Are you the orginal owner and what sort of information is in the log books?

Who has carried out the work and have you done the timing belt and water pump early even tho its not due untill 100,000?

Good luck with the sale, certainly looks clean! You will have to wait quite a while for someone with that sort of money to come along after a Z like this, specially an auto. Have a look at Cookie's Z which sold recently, possibly the best NA in Australia and it went for a lot less than that

I am in the same boat at the moment, I have spent over $15,000 in mods and maintenance over the last two years and I don't expect mine to sell for that much at all

Front nose panel has been debadged, may I ask why?

Chrispy I think some of the Auspec NA's weren't fitted with a Nissan badge on the nose??.......mine doesn't have one either!

Yeah i agree, you'd probably have to wait a while with the 10k price tag as well, thats the way the market is at the moment.

 

Yes very low k's but I agree with the others as thats what a good cond low k Z goes for. Hope you get more good luck with the sale..

 

i believe the nissan badge on the nose panel started with the series 2

series 1 was blank i believe

 

paid 11k for mine, thus far $3k of work done with another $1k ahead of me, and thats before mods begin

it is a little high on the current market, but i applaud you for asking that price, maybe others can follow the trend and the prices can come up again....or am i just dreaming

I mean, I paid 17.5k for mine, in mint condition (no faults even by the tester) and an anniversary edition

I paid 12k for my 89 with 110,000Ks which was stock as a rock down to the airbox. needed no work at all and the money i've spent since then is on mods

Stop harrasing this bloke, he can ask what he likes for his car probably an exercise in futility to advertise on this site though given the majority of members already own a Zed and those that don't generally assume they can pick up a gem for chump change.
