Its nearly time for my beloved Z to find a new home... I've had this for just under 2 years, and it has given me many hours of fun, frustration and good times. Sad to see it go, but it's had a good run.

As most of you will know this car isn't standard, with most bits being fiddled with or modified. My aim was to have the most powerful and fastest NA in Australia, but I have woken up to the fact that it will cost more than I want to pay :( I have spent about $17,000 on maintenance, modification and tyres since I purchased it back in in November 2005.

It was originally gunmetal grey, but the paint had suffered from an over-enthusiastically used power buffer (previous owner) and parts of it where through the clear coat

Most people also know of the infamous dog-mesh fence, which inconveinantly got in my way one saturday night last August. Did significant cosmetic (but not structural or mechanical) damage with every panel scratched and the rear spoiler ripped off. I had the entire car resprayed in Gloss Black (none of those silly pearls or metallics) including the door sills, but not the engine bay.

    OK here are the specs...

    CAR:

    1990
    Z32 300ZX
    NA
    2+2
Roughly 116,000k's, about 120,000 by the time someone buys it. (I have done about 40,000 of those, all highway or mountain driving)

    ENGINE:

*FULL 100,000 service kit (Thanks K-Zed) with viton seals
    *Series 2 PTU
    *AIV's removed
*Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley, nicer than the GFB ones IMO
*Pex overdrive water pump pulley painted red
*All small vacuum lines replaced with silicone (red)
*PWR Twinpass TT radiator (may be sold seperately if some one REALLY wants it)
*Davies Craig Thermofan, will supply stock clutch fan and clutch, but robs a bit more power
    *Top elbow silicone (red)
*Castrol Edge Engine oil changed every 5000k's
    *A'PEXi pod filter
*GReddy Emanage Ultimate loom installed doesn't come with the main unit, but can be supplied at extra cost
    *Walbro 500HP fuel pump
*A'PEXi Super Megaphone cat-back exhaust (nice and quite and has a roar when you step on it) was on the car from Japan
*Timing belt covers painted red + clear coat (flame proof :p)

Car made 135rwkw on the Fist Dyno Dynamics dyno. Equal Number 6 in australia See Here. I believe that this is the highest NA figure on stock extractors
Ran a 15.1 at Willowbank. Number 3 in australia See Here

    DRIVELINE:

*One piece driveshaft 25,000 k's ago
    *New Nissan g'box mount
    *Motul gearbox oil
*Heavy duty Exedy organic clutch 25,000 k's ago
*S/S braided clutch line with Super Dot 4 clutch fluid
*Thrust bearing does sound like it's complaining sometimes. Whoever buys the car and is technically minded I will help to replace for free (as long as their in Brisbane, not flying to Perth to do it)

    SUSPENSION/BRAKES

*Front (Unknown brand) and rear (Whiteline) strutbraces (this was the first mod, way back just after I bought the car. It was also the start of my love affair with GB's )
*Energy Suspension hyper-flex master bushing set (Front lower arm bushes not installed yet, but the subframe and diff ones are, that cost $900 in installation alone!)
    *Rear adjustable camber arms (Egg's)
*Front and rear KYB shocks with lowered King Springs
*Whiteline solid swaybars front and rear, one of the best mods ever
    *17" x 8" Chrome Starcorp Tracer II's with 235/45 Falken 452's on the front
17" x 9" Chrome Starcorp Tracer II's with 255/40 Falken 452's on rear Seriously the stickiest tyres I've ever had!
I have only been in one Zed that handeled better than mine and that is the AMEC race car...
    *Slotted DBA front rotors
    *Red calipers
*Brake fluid changed about 1 month ago with Castrol Super Dot 4
*Stock brake pads, never had any trouble with fade even on the mountains, but they are a bit lacking when cold.

    INTERIOR/STEREO

*Front Kenwood speakers, don't sound the best, but I'm not really in to music.
    *Carrozzeria CD player
    *Carrozzeria Minidisc player
    *Pioneer 6 Stacker
*Band expander as sterio is from Japan
    *New power aerial
*2 Point Australian Standard Immobiliser and Central Locking
*Short shift kit (Stillen copy) which has been solid mounted. I have the stock one but the bottom bearing was completely flogged out and used to eat the bushes every 2 weeks... Being solid mounted it does vibrate and rattle a little more than a stock one, but you wont break it!
*Speco Water Temp gauge mounted in a cup next to the climate control pod
*Brand new dash pods for the climate control and light control
*Red LED lights behind dash
*AMEC 300kph Speedo with a little fake carbon fibre insert for where the boost gauge would sit in a TT
*4 Point racing harnesses (driver and passenger), the previous owner was parinoid about crashing and had these fitted, I also like them alot...
*New heater core to be supplied with the car. Was going to change it, but never got round to it (stock heater works fine, just preventative maintenance)
*Retrimmed black leaterette seats with red stiching. Only the fronts done as I was going to remove the back seats and put in a cage or a doof-doof install.
    *RAZO shifter knob
*Nardi steering wheel. This was out of Bones car after he crashed it. The leather was in terrible condition so I removed it and was going to re-trim it. I grew to like the feel of the rubber and never covered it. It's perfectly round and nice and skinny, about stock diameter.
*Seats are manual, one of the very few Zed's I've seen without an electric drivers seat (weight saving ;))
*No cruise control (more weight saving :p)
*Stock shag pile floor mats, missing one of the rears.

    EXTERIOR

*Silver 'Z' GB indicators (stock orange ones supplied)
    *Rear spoiler removed (Brazilian)
    *Full respray in Gloss Black
*The window weather strips where also painted, no ugly faded strips on this car!
    *New Targa Hook
*6000K HID kit, possibly my favourite mod ever, no wondering where you are going at night in this Zed!
    *Forum stickers

There is probably a whole lot more that I forgot, I'll add as I remember.

I'm not in any hurry at all to sell, by the end of the year would be best, but if someone comes along earlier and really wants it I can part with it. I'd love to see it go to an enthusiest who will love it and shower it in gifts like I have :zlove: Talking of gifts check out my Parts For Sale Thread, link is in my Siggy :D

I'm asking $15,500. I know that is a lot for a NA, but this isn't a typical NA... I know it will take a while to find a buyer, but I'm happy to wait. I will be open to offers further down the line when I want it gone.

    Piccies:
This was a while ago, before the HID's and seats etc. updated piccies coming when I take them :p

The Sard Attack meter does not come with the car as this is incrediably rare (I've only found evidense of another 2 in Australia )

The interior is a bit messy, didn't have time to clean it up this arvo. The water temp gauge sticky thing fell off, will be reattached.

The rear bumper will be resprayed before I sell it as there is some damage thanks to Bones and his 4X4 and a truck at work

Rego runs out in November some time I think, the tyres are only a few weeks old and cost over $1200 for the set (these are only 17" too!) These are one step below Federal's road legal semi-slick!

    That's a shame

Sorry to hear that Chrispy, I have a NA as well and enjoyed reading your threads on getting yours into the HP range of the TT's. Was actually looking forward to the day you did it. Are you going for a TT now?

    Chrispy Pretentious Upstart

Thanks... No, won't be getting another Zed, unless Fleet sells his for $10k :p

Probably go for a R34 GT-T or a late model TT Supra, mmm 600hp on stock bottom end

    More stuff about the Z.

*PTU has been hard wired in, so no adaptor loom.
*If the radiator sells before the car (or you don't want it), the car will be $500 cheaper.
*The 2 little hoses on the front of the engine (you know the ones) will be replaced with blue silicone items before sale.
*The doors shut better than most Zed's, with no weird clunk.

I will be on the Sunshine Coast Cruize if anyone wants to come and have a look/drive/fiddle etc with the car. Might be my Z's last event!

crispy .. incredibly cheap for what you have done to

that machine .. a steal for whoever buys it ... as a comparison, that is what i paid for a basic bag of bolts with a stuffed tailshaft only two years ago ...

In the interest of making this available to more people I have made a little pricing schedule up :D Start with a base price and you can option up

Zed with out the below options: $13,200 (Bargain!)

PWR Twinpass Radiator + Thermo + stock clutch fan supplied: + $500

17" Chrome wheels with very good rubber (worth $1200 alone!), no gutter rash and they look better in real life ;) Stock wheels supplied regardless, but need new tyres as well: + $1500

Alpine touch screen DVD Player (carrozzeria sterio will be supplied regardless): + $800

Resprayed rear bar: + $cost to me (guess about $300 ) You could do it yourself with out too much trouble. I'll post piccies later.

R33 GTR Brembo's installed with rotors. You must also buy wheels (either mine or BYO), as these definately won't fit under the stockies: + $1650

So if you want everything it will be: $17,950 :zlove: This includes stuff that wasn't in the original post.

OK, looke like I may have bought a mint 1997 R33 GTS-T so Mr Z needs to find a new home in the next month or so...

I'll be keeping the Brembo's as they will bolt straight up to the R33.

Make me an offer, I'm somewhat flexible with the price. I'll let you know if your making a silly offer.

It will be going on carsales sometime next week, but I'd much rather sell it to someone on the forum.

My add was getting lonely not being on the For Sale Forum :D

No desparate hurry, I have decided that R33's are far to common to buy once from another state... I'm just going to keep saving until the Z sells,

At this rate I'l be bying a slightly used Lambo

  10. Chrispy

    Chrispy Pretentious Upstart

    Price drop!

$14K with everything but Brembo's, DVD player and resprayed rar bar. I'll be getting it done in the next month or so though...

  11. Chrispy

    Chrispy Pretentious Upstart

Due to the complete lack of interest I'm not going to bother to sell anymore.

I will be doing this instead

This add can be locked or deleted at the mods discretion.
