anyone have a front line lock installed on there z32? is there a kit out there. is it possible at all ?
not on a zed..... i have installed one on an old beemer, but not a zed, overseas you could install one inside the car, down on the floor, but here its illegal to have brake lines in the car right?
Probably... I'm sure someone makes one with an electric solenoid that would negate the need for brake lines inside the car.
ah lol i had a thought of just installing some flow control valves into the brake lines at the rear..and winding them in to block off the rear brakes... hehe
I used to have one When my car was imported it came with one installed in the back with a switch in the front worked well but I discovered on the track the first time I took it out was that it made the ABS not work so I removed it and its sitting at home in a bag. Cheers from Andrew K
line locker i actually have an electric line locker sitting in the shed havent installed it yet.probably wont get around to it lol Good idea if you wanna do big skids in 3rd gear but need a twin plate clutch to support it:biggrin:
Personally I would not use a line locker; I can easily do static burnout in third at the drags no worries (thanks to my slightly modified auto box). If you got plenty of grunt you dont need one
