Power Steering hose: where/what to get?

I've discovered a leak in the P/S return hose, the one that feeds P/S fluid from the steering rack back into the reservoir. The problem hose is the rubber one that joins the pipe on the side of the reservoir and the hard line that runs along the chassis rail. Does anybody know the internal diameter of this hose, and what other specifications the replacement hose should have (aside from being P/S fluid-resistant, of course)? Better yet, anybody got a brand name/vendor that they use for this kind of piping?

    Cheers
    -Tony

    PS. It's a 1990 NA Z32 ;)

    Mate....

Mate just go through the phone book and get a hose doctor, they even do house calls! we use ENZED , they are good, ask for the highest temperature stuff available

It's just a short hose with a hose clamp on each end, I'd prefer to just get some specs and call around places like Repco and buy a length of hose. I wouldn't want to waste Enzed's time (and my money) by getting them to do a house call for something so simple, but thanks for the response anyway.

I wrote a tech article detailing how to fix that, but I can't find it in the Tech section. Maybe Rob knows where it has gone?

very common for the alternator to die

when there is a bad p/s leak as guess where the fluid goes, straight in the alternator. Most likely you will need a new High pressure hose, there is a tech article on TT.net on how to change it.
