    1. Am I correct in thinking that when you drill through fibreglass (bumper) that you should have masking tape on so as not to crack the glass?
If I am wrong, can someone offer the correct way. I am mounting a bar to a Skyline but needs holes drilled for undertray.

    2. MESH - Where can I buy black mesh for inserts into the said bar?
    Autobarn, Supercheap?????

    Cheers in advance.

Any advice on the drilling part ???
I think I am right but don't want to wreck a new bar just incase.

get the right sharp drill bit.... and drill slowly at high speed, so the drill doesnt 'screw' into the glass like it some times does to mettal

Or... use a countersink bit to start the hole, slightly over-size, thru the gelcoat.

If in doubt, go with Josh, his drilling expertise is prolly more up-to-date. :p ;)

    sharp drill.
    fast.
    dont stop.
pre drill dont go for the large hole first
have painted and fitted heaps of kits. take it from someone who made a mistake, and i only made that mistake once, if in doubt get a old piece of fibreglass and take a test run on it
