Hi All, Am looking to buy another Zed this time a 1990 but its been lowered to much so I'm looking to see if anyone has standard shocks / springs for sale. Live in Perth and need them pretty quickly. You can email me at stevetravel1411@yahoo.co.uk
I can't remember his name but I gave mine to a forum member for this same reason. he lives in Margaret river and if you contact him, he may be able to give you my old ones if he's done with them. You may need to pick them up though, but they would probably be free (well I gave them to him for free). I think it was either Kade or Krause maybe. i really don't remember, sorry. i'm sure someone else will though. I can find out tomorrow otherwise.
hey man, Im pretty sure I can help you out here, I have a friend who has a brand new set of standard ones in their boxes still. Came with the car, was an upgrade done in Jap and they left the origionals with the car or somethng. If I buy them I will get them hell cheap cause he always sells me shiznitt cheap when he dosnt want it any more. I know they are there and I know I can get em and I come to Perth every week, so how much you wanna pay? alternatively, I have my secondhand ones, I will be installing Tein Flex soon but I think I can block the car in the mean time if you need them sooner. let me know cheers
sorry just to add to that last bit by me, I think his is a 92model so I dont know wether they will fit a 90, maybe someone else could help out here?
Thanks for the update. HI Zeb, I'll check about the 92 to see if they fit the 90, maybe some of the experts on here will know the details. What do you have? is yours a 90, what condition will your be in?
You can check on the microfiche here: http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetdocs/docs.aspx I'm not sure how to use it to be honest, but it lists every part on the 300ZX and whether they changed in any year.
Yes, suspension is all exactly the same from 1989 to 2000, the only differance beeing the American TT's had electronic dampner control. All sturt/spring assembleys are phyiscally the same size and will bolt in.
