Hi guys. I'm a new member and this is my first post.
I have a 1991 2 seater Zed. Just wondering if anyone knows what the biggest rims you can put on this car without any modifications?
Also, can I have some feedback on Tempetyres? They seem to have a good selection of wheels. Do you guys recommend them?

a search will tell you your answers on size, just type in rims in the forum search bar,and tempe are great,i got mine from there, very helpful,no dramas at all :)
ive got 18 x 8 and 18 x 9 deep dish, but what you got to ask yourself is do you have the cash to fit good quality wide tyres, they are very expensive once you go past 18's in size or 265's in width

i think he was referring to a search on our site, 20s can fit on no mods, but need to be sure you have the right offsets and tyre size

yeah watch out for tyres, I had the 'cheapest' 245/35/19 tyres I could find fitted on saturday, and they were $249 per tyre, luckily for me I only needed two.. but take this into account when looking for big ass wheels

Why don't Aussie web sites give prices on tyres, I have a set of 19s that I would like to bring with me when I emigrate but can't find any prices to see if its going to be too expensive to run on them.

anything bigger than 19s is waaaaaaaaaaaay to overdone on a zed imo
check pics to see what i mean the 300 is such a low car adding 20's would only add to the height and affects handling which makes it look like a pair of rollerskates

the key to getting the biggest/best sized rims on a car
is get ones that fill the whole wheel arch 19s do that perfectly and going above 18s even is a harsh sacrifice of ride quality for appereance.

for example 18s on 300 look about the same size as 20's on a chrysler 300c

    Illegal eagle

...... so is everything else on my ride.

I think 20's look tight. there is at least one person here who has 20's and i like it

technically no bigger than 15mm larger tyre diameter.
and 25mm width son 18s with extra low profile would be okay
    however u could get a tyre placard from a 1995 stillen Z
    which came with 17s stock.

    Thanks! And chrome wheels?

Thanks for all the feedback guys. Can anyone recommend a good wheels/tyres place in Perth. Also, I've heard some chrome wheels start peeling in time? What's a good brand for chrome wheels?

I'm looking to replace my rear tyres Bridgestone Potenza G3 265/40/17's but was advised that Bridgestone don't make them anymore:mad:
The closest they could do was the Pirelli's for $595 each:mad:  Although i wouldnt have expected the G3's to be any cheaper.
