    Hi all

Well I'm starting a fitness campaign and need some motivational music for the ipod when on the treadmill.

Now obviously everyone has different taste but I would like to here what people suggest.

    Thanks

Heavy to Death metal (inc Speed)... can't go too far wrong!!!

If the army uses that kind of music to motivate it's gotta do something!

    Oh my god...been here before.

Here's a few. I've highligted in red the ones that should be torrent friendly finds.

For stretching and stuff I would always use:

Pitbull - Everybody get up. Nice 1.5 minute intro and then you run....hard!

Whilst running/cardio I listen to some of these. Not all pump me up songs...some are slower but they talk to me.

Citizen Cope - Son's Gonna Rise
Groove Armada - Hands of Time
Jacks Mannequin - The Mixed Tape
    Jacks Mannequin - Dark Blue

Rob Thomas - Streetcorner Symphony (cheesy, but it works)
The Get-Up Kids - Like a Man Possessed
Audioslave - I Am the Highway
    Dishwalla - Collide
Fuel - Jesus Or A Gun
    Linkin Park & Jay-Z - Big Pimpin & Papercut
    Linkin Park & Jay-Z - Jigga What & Faint
Rage Against The Machine - Bombtrack
Rage Against The Machine - Take The Power Back
    Switchfoot - Only Hope

The Verve - Never Let You Down

    If you get desperate:

Survivor - Eye Of The Tiger
Rolling Stones - Start Me Up
Scorpians - Rock You Like A Hurricane
    Shannon Noll - Lift
    Shannon Noll - Shine

    Haha

    Enjoy!

    meh

i will say this and if any regular gym goer knows, if u wanna spend 20mins on the treadmill and want to work harder and time to fly quicker

you want instrumentals, not classical, trip-hop or hip hop something with a funky rythmic beat

i thoroughly THOROUGHLY suggest you either purchase or download

RJD2 - deadringer, (thats the album) its drum beats, with piano laced with instruments and funky electronics its truly aural pleasure thats paced beatifully. im willing to refund u the money if u dont believe me lol

if u cant get a hold of the album download these tracks

    RJD2 - June feat. copywrite
    RJD2 - Chicken bone circuit
    RDJ2 - smoke & mirrors
    RJD2 - heres whats left

also whats good is to interlude these softer rhymic hip hop drum n bass with
    some hard trance.

what this allows your mind to do is feel free, you can cruise through your workouts and let your imagination run wild.

rather than hear about jayz rhyme about bitches drugs or cars.

    some trance/dance choices are

DJ hixxy - pretty green eyes.
    DJ hixxy - heavens abovee
    4 strings -take me away
    Peran - good time
4 strings - turn it around club rotation remix
daft punk - one more time

    pretty much in that order.

hardstyle and hard nrg get me motived and pumped and keep me working out and training hard.

if your punching a bag 50 cent is good as you wanna hit it or kick it harder to get that annoying voice out of your head

gonna sound gay but the shannon noll cover of don't give up.

    Something with a beat

that's not full-on house music is what you want - I'd suggest getting these three albums:

    Gnarls Barkley - St Elsewhere.
Mylo - Destroy Rock & Roll
The Go! Team - Thunder, Lightning, Strike
