Ok guys, need some advice here, as of 3 days ago, my radiator has started to leak, and one (I hope its only one) of my under-plenum coolant hoses has sprung a leak. So I need a new radiator AND a plenum pull :( :( :(

What do you guys think of this radiator? At 56mm it is a decent thickness, and the seller seems trustworthy. Is there any reason for me not to buy one of these radiators?

    Any other advice?

    Thanks guys

I would say no, unless you know of someone who has that exact same radiator and can confirm it's reliabilitiy.

I noticed it specifically states twin turbo ?
Do TTs normally use different radiators to the non turbos ?

Typically yes, I know in the case of Z31's the NA radiator is single row and the Turbo radiator is dual row... The reason being that turbocharged engines generate alot more heat than NA engines do.

There's no harm in using a turbo radiator on an NA, but the other way around wouldn't be wise...

The Z32 N/A radiator as pictured in the link (yes they are n/a versions so not sure what the guy is selling so ask before you buy if you are keen Mentori) is totally different to the TT radiator and cannot be substituted easily. You would have to change the mounts, hoses, shorten the overflow hose and a host of other chanegs to make it work.

I do not know of anyone who has imported one of these I would want to see some more pics of the actual radiators before forking out my cash though. As stated those pictured are N/A radiators and the ad says TT so looks dicey to me. A few members have looked at getting these and dont think they got them in the end. I have been searching far and wide to get a good supply of cheap quality radiators for the members here and will be testing the AMS (koyo remake) this friday at Eastern Creek but supply will be a while off yet. Zrated's ones may be available soon send him a pm, My koyo supplier in Texas doesnt have any and wont have for another 4 or so weeks at least.

Sorry mate doesnt leave you with many options

    Cheers

Thats why I have asked here.

Had little luck at local radiator shops, so far have been told "oh we cant do aftermarket, we will only replace with an oem radiator (I currently have an aftermarket rad, although not sure what type). Not to mention the screaming like a little girl when they realise that the leaking coolant hose is coming from under the plenum

My mates radiator split (TT model ) and he ordered one from another supplier in Asia, took 5 weeks to arrive !!! but it does fit and works extreamly well, only issue was the engine fan shroud wouldnt go back in, extra thickness of the radiator ( 52mm thick ) meant a cut n shut to the shroud in order to get it back in.
We couldnt be bothered cutting it and the radiator did such an excelent cooling job we havent bothered with the shroud since :D .... left hand , right shoulder :D :D

I was that impressed I ordered one from the 'Shanghai' supplier , it arrived extreamly well packed & 6 days after I had paid for it. Fitted easily and again dramas with the fan shroud.
Cooling is awsome, expect ya guage to sit half of what it does normally !
