Round 2 of the Drift Australia series is next weekend, so hopefully the DriftZ will put up a good show. We were hoping to have it together by now and get some testing in, but once again, things have been delayed. After WA we had to pull the engine out and replace the head gaskets and machine the heads because of the overheating problems caused by not having a thermostat or restrictor fitted. We have just got the engine back and we are getting it ready to put in. Caz has supplied a lot of polished items, so the engine bay will also look the part. We ordered a set of Leader 4.11 diff gears from the USA through Street to Strip and Diff Technics has re-built the diff for us. That arrived this afternoon. So over Easter, we will be busy assembing the DriftZ and getting it tuned so it can travel to Adelaide next week. Caz is on her way to the Nationals (good luck Caz) and she will be making her way over to Malalla for the Drifting next weekend. All Zedders are welcome to come out and watch and lend a hand in the pits. Make sure you come down and introduce yourselves, we would love to see you. Cheers Greg
Hope it all comes together for round two! Would be great to see the Z make an appearance and show a lot of non-believers that a Z can be drifted with the best of them. Good luck :zlove:
