Well today marks the passing of the deadline I set myself to take the car to the Nats. Typically none of the parts that I have had on order from multiple suppliers have arrived and my Zed is left gutless in my driveway :(

    Maybe next time...

Least I got myself a "garage" now lol

I removed the baffle in the passenger side exhaust cam cover as it serves no purpose once you do the reroute. (the drivers side dosent have one) I left the intake cam cover baffles in place, just make sure you wash them out thoughrouly to get any metal shavings out from tapping the threads.

On the stock pcv system oil tends to pool up in the passenger side cam cover during long right hand bends. The oil is then sucked into the PCV system. The bypass moves the pickups to a higher point where this does not occur. This is usually only experienced on a racetrack but often results in huge amounts of smoke out the exhaust and high oil consumption.

nah I think Ill save the engine pull for the turbos later in the year / next year. As for the creeper it wont be creeping very far on gravel :)

    Stu...

when you pull your engine out, let me know and I'll come and help. I need to learn how to do this for when I eventually pull my engine out.

    Bring The Bling

As karma would have it a ton of stuff was ready today, although still missing critical components from Coz / and my steering rack.

Im a perfectionist so I was more than happy to pay Caz to get my stuff polished. As usual she didnt dissapoint. For all the stuff that I couldnt get polished I sent to the platers to get chromed / nickel plated.

Photos do not do this stuff justice (always the way)

CAS and Bracket. Im running without covers so specifically asked for the whole bracket to be done. Top job

    Chromed PS Reservoir

Whats the biggest thing wrong with most peoples Polished Throttle Bodies ?? They only do half the job. I fully disassembled them and had every piece plated. Cant wait to assemble it all again.

I had the fuel rails hot tanked because i wanted nice clean ones to put the new injectors into. To avoid rusting I got them nickel plated. The front PCV pickups are chromed.

Put the Cam Sprockets into the platers today. Going to try some thing special with these. Stay tuned..

I would have offered up my garage for you to use if I'd known. Only payment I'd have needed is to be able to watch and learn.:D
