Burning a car ? how cold do you have to be???????????????

Discussion in 'Non Technical' started by robertmiles33, Apr 4, 2007.

  1. Anyone know about a car that was left burning late on Monday night / Tuesday morning? This happened near the water reservior in Goodna, QLD - at the end of Alice street. I'm sick of people doing this sort of this to others vehicles. I can imagine what the owner felt when he/she came to pick up the car. Even worse would've been the looks on their face when they saw their pride burnt to the ground, cause some smartass wanted to hike a ride.
Sorry for talking on about things like this on the forum, but I really reallllllllllllllly want to find out who was responsible for this. If anyone does know about this pleeeeeeeeeeease let me know or PM me.

Any help would be MUCH MUCH appreciated.

Was it your car? Cause I know of some people, lets call them insurance companies, who pay out if your car is stolen and torched. Some naughty people use this as a way to collect. Esp. if it was near a remote area like a reservoir.

Though of course it could be as you said and some asshole torched someone elses car. But just putting this up as a possibility. Cars do get torched in the pines for that same reason here in Perth.

  3. Well, it was acually a very close friend of mines. She was literally on the ground in tears after this happened. The worst part is she didn't have insurance on the car either. Its just sad to see people do these sorts of things and get a kick out of it while some person on the other side of the fence is copping it all in.
Like I said I'm not planning on attacking anyone who may have done this - I just want to know so that I am aware myself.

Mate, I apprecaite your offering above, but I don't really want to go down that path as that may lead to more problems as its is unlawfull.

    Thanks anyway buddy

I would really appreciate if anyone does know about this to let me know. Much much appreciate it.

No, I was saying that maybe someone you didn't know really did torch their own car to collect insurance money haha. If you knew the person who owned the car this obviously isn't the case. It's a pity she didn't have insurance :(

I know what you mean, I parked my car in a carpark, leaving it near a little "native" kid about 10 yrs old. I was 50 meters away when I realised I forgot something, went back to get it and turned around to see my little friend throwing orange juice on my car, like 500 mls. For no goddamn reason than he knew it would piss someone off and would destroy something someone else obviously cared about. I chased him off, lost him and when I came back to the car his friend I guess had poured a further litre of choc milk on the OJ.

I hate random acts of destruction like this. These are the kids who will grow up to torch people cars like your friends. I really hope you find who did it. At least if you know where they live you can go searching for something of value of theirs. Since the police can't do anything without proof.

  5. Cheers buddy. Yeah I do have a lot of hatred built inside and would love to go and do something to the person who is responsible for this. But I think it when you rush and do stupid things you yourself tend to make mistakes.
    Appreciate your comments anyways champ.
I'll just keep looking around, cause there must be someone, somewhere who would know about this. I mean, if worse comes to worse, I'd even be willing to offer some money to the person who opens up. I just got this massive craving inside me that wants to know who it was.
And like I said, once I know it - the right authorities will do them justice.
PS: Sorry to hear about your car too man.....Like I always say, its just tough luck if you can't afford to buy cars and the like for yourself. But rather than being jelous for people who have these - be happy for them....cause I'm sure they would've worked hard to get to where they are now.
