Thats really impressive!! how the hell have you gotten away with it for this long I was straight up with ym parents, told them as soon as i got home, hoping the 'honesty is the best policy' thing will work, and it did! theyre over it, and just like 'yeah youve learned your lesson', which is pretty cool of them i guess...lets see how they feel if i have to go to court though...really not lookign forward to it

Hehe, cause you don't want to disappoint them of course. For me, it wasn't about them getting angry about it (when I lost my licence for driving at 0.06 on my P's) but rather in letting them down ya know?

I worked for all that I own, the only thing that my parents contributed financially was $1,000 towards the goods for the house that I purchased over a year ago. As such I feel no level of debt to either parents, and so dont need to explain (or not explain) myself to anyone as I am my own man. But for those of you still sponging off the folks I can see why you would need to keep them happy. BTW I am only 22.
