the main point of this thread is for me to find a new centre panel, so if you have one/make/sell them let us know. the second point of this thread is to try to get pictures of as many different centre panels as possible. so if you have a centre/nose/head light panel or if you call it a centre fascia as refered to by nissan, perticularly if its a bit different, take a pic and show it off
gonzo is our resident supplier http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=252429 but heres mine Bomex
yep, a la the josh post .. the gonz is your man .. and if he hasn't made what you want already, the odds are that he will knock your special order up for you.. .. but beware .. noses are addictive .. i only have 6 or 7 ... have lost count ..!!
genuine stillen urethane nose panel ,in my sig ,$230 delivered from coz in the u.s and fits perfectly
Looks and function? Depends if going for looks or function or bit of both as few do anything to help with cooling. If you have a FMIC you need this one as best design for air flow.
Had some issues with mine... My original one just had a plain old Z badge but I recently bought a new one. Has anyone else bought a panel that didnt physically fit because the black airbox directly below the panel hit the indented vents? The result with mine is that the top is almost 2 inches in the air and cant be attached (see pic). Not sure if the part under the panel is stock or mod....but it looks stock. Can anyone help?
ebay actually... put a $50 bid and won it by mistake lol... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320083746827&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:AU:12 they have several
please explain ....????? would be interested to know why that design ( which i do have) would be regarded as the "best" design for air flow ... is there empirical evidence to demonstrate that this design is the "best" ..??? ... and any particular reason why such a claim is directly related to a zed sporting a FMIC ...???
Needs a Pod air filter As our phone call you need a pod air fliter AS most people have already replaced the stock air box with a up grade pod air filter. Problem solved.
Here's a different one, I reckon it would give Unique's one a run for it's money in the flow stakes too
and fleet (pete) at AMEC has an unmatchable deal on the apexi power intake (pod filter) at the moment .... $100.00 delivered ..
Grill I had not seen this one and yes this could well be better as grabs the air going over it. Most of the rest I have seen are mostly looks. FMIC need extra direct air flow as otherwise the only air they get is disturbed and slightly heated, although mainly at lower speeds.
