PARTS NEEDED... she has no insurance and does not speak english, so i went and got spashed t a bar in brunswick. For those who r still counting this is the second time this week my car has been hit by imigrants with no insurance and NO MONEY!. ANGRY!
dude i hope you got her rego (and the asian guys from last time) take them to court, no matter if they have no money or not they will have to pay up. Of course they are always gonna say they have no money when they are fob and cant speak a bar of english, its so you feel sorry for them and they dont have to pay.

man that sucks, you can't let people get away with it take em to court, if they're not australian there may also be licensing issues, not sure bout that but in that case they wouldn't have got into australia without money.
If she's a tourist she'll have some sort of travel/hire car insurance hopefully, if not a tourist you can take her to court regardless of what language she speaks. They'll get a translator if they have to.

Well if you dont have insurance GET IT! How unlucky can one guy be, run over a black cat? As before report the accident to the police, if you have insurance go through it and provide her details, if you dont have insurance, its probably going to cost you more in legal fees that the damage is worth. Hey bud, when i went to court, I found there where no legal fees. The only thing I had to pay for was like some sort of court fee which was like $40 or something like that! It gets very expencive very quickly when you start involving a representitive team. But for this there is no real need. Just state the facts, be confident and not cocky/disrespectful, and it should go all your way!!!
In europe 3rd part property is compulsory !!!! its a bigger offence to drive with no insurance than no licence
Go see the chamber majistrate and take out a small claims... They get a summons to pay, it only goes to court if they want to dispute.. If they do nothing, the sherrif goes and reposeses stuff and sells.. There are some fees, but they get added to the mount owing, ie you get it back..
You could ask centerlink about legal aid. I have no idea how that works. But if is minor damage (I think less than $1000) you can go to small claims court, which is easy to do so I hear.
Yeah, i got third party since I don't want to hit a porche or Ferrari and lose everything I own, but I draw the line at comprehensive. I have trouble finding somewhere less than 2k per yr and with that sort of money i'm better off putting it away to gain interest for me. Chances are if I crash in a few yrs, the dmg will be less than what I've saved.
Take it to small claims As I understand, small claims (claims under $5k) shouldn't cost anything. Not too sure of the details or if it differs in states. I think there is a few legal-type guys on here, find out who or just ask your local cops about it, they should be able to help. For f*^k sake DO NOT LEAVE IT!!! I got caught out with my bike like that - someone else crashed it when I was away and left it with my bro. Left it too long and got nothing when I could have got it fixed for free. Same as my Z's engine - mechanic wrecked it and due to appalling legal (mis)representation, I got nothing again when it should have been paid for by the mechanic. You might not get anything, but it's free to ask the cops or another legal rep and you just might get it all paid for!!!
