    Do bother.

    Yes they do something, they will use LESS fuel if they are tuned properly.

    You will be safe to run 15psi.

    Chips are god. (in the non-religious sense of the word of course)

    Agree chips are good but only if mapped for your car and your conditions.Some of the el-cheapo ebay items may be a bit of an unknown and not worth the risk .

    For performance on an NA, I'd go:

    Intake $140 From Caz
    Underdrive Pulley $272
    Exhaust (Dual 2.25") $500+++ depends.
    SAFC $400 + tuning (200?)
    Upgraded flywheel/clutch $1000++
    This should net somewhere around 260-270hp at flywheel.

    Beyond that, the $/gain ratio is very low.

    Completely agree, I'm at the stage I have to open the engine :eek: Not cheap let me tell you! SPend all the money on the suspension, much more tangiable result, that and you wont come near me on the power board once I'm done :p

    A'PEXi Super Air Flow Converter, it's a poor mans aftermarket ECU, it's a piggyback and only controls fuel. The best one to go for is the latest version the NEO (series 3) about $500, I bought a series 1 off Ebay for about $200. I haven't got mine tuned yet, but other members have got an extra 30rwhp out of there NA's.
