Does the top of the bottle have to face forward to the motor with nitrous oxide,or face to the rear of the car,im thinking it has to face to the rear,so when in forward motion all the gas is forced to the outlet even though it is under pressure.
according to my memory, i think its too da ass of the car - cant remember now though..... why are u getting NOS???
cheers thanks for that East Coast Z, :zlove: :zlove: and also to eastern eye for your fantastic insight lol lol lol lol
the top of the bottle has to face forwards, there is a tube inside the bottle that goes to the bottom like a straw thats why it gets put in this direction
The reason Simon the bottle faces forward with the label facing up is in fact as other members pointed out. The nitour bottle features a pickup tube which sits at the bottom of the bottle in both respects to height and width. Its related to physics. When you mash the throttle the car launches forward and pushes all the liquid nitrous to the rear and bottom of the bottle to the pick up tube and away you go.
If you get a setup you will need a bottle heater most definately being in Melbourne. Dont use the standard electric thermostat one tried it and was pretty average. Use the new fangled pressure type awesome. It senses the pressure of the bottle and turns on when the pressure lowers to 900 psi and off again when it reaches 960 psi. Works a lot better mate
