    Hey,
I'm about to go out and buy BOV pipes from another member of the ZX forum and wondering if it is hard to install BOV??

I'm not too sure what I'm meant to do with the re-circ valves and how to get to it. I've seen a write up on how to change it but I'm getting hard pipes!

I live in Melbourne if anyone is willing to give me a hand today.

    Thanks in advanced.

if the hardpipes your getting have the BOVs attached, then all you have to do is replace your existing pipes with the hardpipes. you might also want to disconnect your existing recirculation valves.

the following link will help you locate and remove the stock valves. if you don't want to fully remove them, you can just block off the pipe which makes the recirc valves plumback. in other words, instead of getting compressor surge, your bovs will release all the excess air.

    Hey Chris,
Had a look at this link already but I noticed they're changing the BOV and not blocking it.

What am I meant to block?

if you wanna pop around to dandenong you can come have a look at my car i've got the front end off so you'll be able to see.. then you'll see what i've done with it, then you can head down to clark rubber afterwards which is 5 mins, you'll see what i mean anyway if you come.
