Was going into town last night around 7.30pm approaching the Bulleen Road enramp to the Eastern Freeway. I noticed a motorbike in our group of cars. Burgundy colour with fibreglass paniers. To be honest it had the profile of sometthing like a big Honda shaftdrive (not a Goldwing). Turning Right onto the freeway entry I thought he was going to come down between me and the car next door. I'm in the Zed. He disappeared but came back into view. It was tempting to have a small fang (and what if the bikie had engaged me?) but no on with the cruise control at just over 100. Further down the freeway there's a parked white late model Holden Crewman. I was starting to wonder WTF is going on? At this pt I adjusted the cruise control back to 95. A White Fairlane sailed past, probably no more than 110.. Lo and behold a minute or two later and there's the Fairlane pulled over with what turned out to be a BMW unmarked police bike with some flashing lights going. The same bike I'd seen 5 minutes earlier. I read somewhere in the paper of a bit of blitz on the Eastern Freeway last week. Be very careful out there! Better to be travelling at the limit or slightly under than incurring the wrath of the law..
the ones on the motorbikes are easy just swing the tail out and knock them off... oh.. is this not F&F ?...
haha to be honest i was jsut thinknig to myself today.. i dont think i have ever seen any undercover police bikes
these guys obviously aren't undercover, but they were at Supercruise last year threatening to arrest anyone who didn't leave the area... I just had to take a pic cos i thought cops on dirt bikes looked pretty cool!!!
Saw another one this morning. Was toward the Hoddle St. end of the Eastern, maroon/burgandy BMW bike had pulled over another bike in the bus lane. First time i had ever seen an unmarked police bike as well.
Now thats one cop duty I would be happy doing! Just in case people rob a bank and then take off on quad runners. Does the uniform come with a Uzi......so suitable for a dirt bike!
