Hi guys, Sorry if this seems like a pointless topic, but I just wanted to vent my frustration on the forums. Looking around, I notice some people have had their zeds stolen, thrashed, others have had rocks thrown at them well, last nite I parked my zed outside my gf's house, in Cranbourne, Melbourne, and this morning, I go outisde and turns out that some little f*ckwit egged the whole side of it! I dunno, do people think zeds are really expensive and do this sort of sh*t out of jealousy? or do they just have no respect for others?? I realize this isn't as bad as having your zed stolen or damaged, but it still pisses me off that people can be such c*nts and not think about anyone else. Just wish I could catch these little cowards and make them lick the zed clean! Hopefully these sort of incidents don't occur too often, but then again, maybe they do..
hey mate, sorry about what happened to your car, not the best thing to find. i think you'll find stuff like this is becoming more common, and it isn't specifically zed targeted. you get this on any type of car. it depends on a number of factors: 1. just the wrong place at the wrong time 2. may be motivated, someone know's someone who pissed off someone etc. 3. revenge of the ex 4. targetting our specific car for parts 5. need parts for drugs/cash/debt etc 6. just drunk idiots thinking its funny there's more reasons i guess but yeh gives you an idea. its a frustrating thing to have happen, but at the end of the day, will keep happening, and the only real way to stop it is to catch someone in the act. people definitely do have less respect these days, but i guess when you have people growing up and being shaped by a world where there's war, terrorism, cruelty, unfair justice etc., who knows what they are going to perceive as being senseless. sometimes you just have to look at it and say 'that's life', clean the car, and move on. hopefully the person who did it gets what is coming to them. cheers Jay

It dont matter what type of car you drive... Alot of people have no respect at all... I dont know how many times i have watched people open there doors into other peoples cars or while walking past bump into it... Its a joke the day people learn some respect then the owner of the car might not go off at them... I have had people hit my car while i am in it and they wonder why i was damm pissed off yelling in a car park... Guy come upto me and said stop yelling mate i pretty much turned around and said well if your car got damaged becuase some fool has no respect for others belongs then what would you do.. Pretty much walked off didnt say a word... The person i was yelling at damm did they get scared and i am only a short ass hahaha Its a shame people do things to car and egging someones car is pretty damm low... I hope you washed it off ASAP dude the egg can effect your paintwork... I hope it comes off good and no damage is done to the paint work...
another thing you have to keep in mind is that our z's are our pride and joy, to some people car's are merely just an object that gets them from A to B. yes it is about respecting other people's property, but when it comes to hitting car doors etc., some people really just don't care. its JUST a car to them.
We can only hope that the little c#^ts grow up get their licence get a big loan just so they can get a nice car that goes wooooosh. And then they have the younger generation of little assholes that egg their car an chuck rock's bottle's ect ect and see how they FKN like it. CARMA WILL BITE YOU IN THE ASS. It may not be straight away but it WILL happen. HA HA HA HA.
Many years ago I caught some kids who egged my Ford. I saw them run off down into a gully and simply drove around to the other side and waited for them to come panting up the side of the hill. They had no more energy to run, so I made them take off their shirts and clean my car. These days I would probably get into trouble for doing that but the little turds learnt their lesson. One of the three later became Premier of China, another was Bill Clinton and the tird was Saddam Hussein! Actually I made that last part up in case you couldn't tell. Geoff
Geoff, you've got the right idea, good on you mate! And to everyone who replied, thanks for the kind words guys, seems this kind of behaviour is a lot more common than I thought.. I quickly washed it all off, while giving suspicious stares at everyone who drove / walked by on that street I hope these d*ckheads grow up one day, I mean, I drive a stocky NA zed, and that's enough of a target for them, what about the guys on here with the really flashy zeds? I'd keep a gun on the dash, just to scare off these idiots! Thanks again guys, you've made me feel better, and the zed got a much needed wash!
I found people really respected my Jag MK2 1963 classic, no need ever to lock it, and everybody came up and said their uncle or father used to have one. Nobody would even have been able to figure out how to start it - starter button in the middle of the dash. Not so sure about the ZED though. It's just a car isn't it ? (in most peoples minds)
I know how you feel only last weekend i had gone into super cheap auto here on the central coast, only to come back to a heavy scatched driver side door which went right through to the rear gaurd ,so no more shopping centres for my zed because some people dont give a shit about others. But alls good will have her back from repairers hopefully mid week.cheers FISH:zlove:

i was driving home one night and some wankers in a vn commodore thought it would be funny to egg my car while driving past. turned around at the next roundabout but couldnt find them. i now have a 2cm chip of paint missing because of that egg
Yeh iv had the same problems as well. one time i went to the shops and parked my zr in the parking lot and i saw this aussie bogan guy drinkin beer and givin me looks as i got outta my car. i just ignored him and went into the shops and Came out to find that a beer bottle had been smashed on the the front windscreen. left a huge ass crack on the windscreen and lots of mess. went out lookin for the guy for bout 3 hours. and no luck in finding him Hmmm for some reason though I think this was more of an act of racism than anything. or maybe his just jealous cos i had something nicer than his bicycle But i spose thats what you get wen your the only asian kid living in a town of white folk eh.
IBBI It was at Lake Haven shopping centre, The thing was that i had actually parked away from other cars to prevent this, but the car parking spots do fill up quickly around there. The guys working on her do a good job they have done some work for me a while back so she will come out looking good thank Kbro3. Once bitting twice shy, wont happen again cheers FISH:zlove:
