    Hi

I have my speco 2ich boost gauge set up on the left side of the dash. Haven't got it fitted yet just have the vacuum hoses connected so i could see if it works. just waiting on some bits for my dash then its going to be fitted.

any Ideas or pics on where about it should fit or how to hide the wires and the vacuum hose. also can i hook up the light to the gauge through my head light switch or do i have to hook it up to a fuse ?

    Thanks

    Easiest place

is in the A-pillar (via a pillar mount) IMHO.

got it fitted and it looks nice

got it fitted and had most of it wired up going to get the auto electrician to finish it off. with the custom exhaust that i got i should be making more then 7-8 psi boost ? Thanks

All Done now Thanks for the advice

yeah i know all sorted now was a bit frustrated when installing it.
I was trying to run the positive wire in to the fuse box and i was trying to install it to the light switch before that. i was trying to avoid pulling the deck out all together. but it turned out i had to anyways.

and also how come my speedo drops out now and then while I'm driving could it be a lose connector ?

    Thanks

Is this a new problem or one that existed beforehand?

Do you also have issues with the steering going firm, and /or hicas light coming on intermittently?

Can be alot of things. Common suggested fixes include:

-Power steering fluid reservoir not full

-Speed sensor which is located here on the manual
    [IMG]

-Circuit board on the back of the dash needs to be resoldered as it gets hairline cracks in it.

-Power steering solenoid connectors not making a good connection.
