splash guard Hey Trav, Are you willing to post to Sydney? When I put my FMIC on i kinda mauled the splash guard, got the shits, then bodgied it up. To cut a long story short i was driving along the free way a few weeks back and my splash guard was scraping along the ground for 200ks. When I got home I again got the shits and took the front part off. As a result of this, I have now noticed that at about half and hour into my trip the zed over heats, so I think its the absents of the splash guard causing this. Just trying to decide whether to go a splash guard, or vented nose panel.
hey dave, you must have other issues with your cooling system, im not using a splash gaurd and i have the fmic also, and my zed never over heats, have you flushed your radiator out and put in a good mixture of coolant? bout 60% should be the mixture.. and i'd definatly go for a vented nose panel to help reduce the heat.. and i'd much prefer local pick up on something the size of the splash gaurd.. no pic as i left the camera in my gf's car, but it looks like an everyday splash gaurd with a bit of dirt and dust on it, couple of small cracks but none of em will affect the ability to fit it under the car or cause it to dicintigrate at high speeds..
