I knew someone would write that.....

no, mammals with teeth dont worry me, and i'm usually pretty good with dogs and other animals where I have enough sense not to pat them or go near them if I'm unsure about them... also dogs are much larger and hence dont startle you with them being somewhere you least expect....

spiders and bugs are just hideous....

Back in the day, when I moved out of home, I had the choice of jobs in Sydney or Melbourne. I chose Melbourne 'cause I don't like spiders that can kill (eg Funnel-webs). I was never too worried about red-backs, having grown up (some say I never have) in "outback Australia".

I love both spiders and snake.

I had a resident huntman in the CRX that was absolutely massive, and now I think he has moved to the Z. So long as he dont crawl on my face while I'm driving, i dont care.

Ex-gf was helping wash the car one day, and he crawled out, haha. She is absolutely shit scared of spiders, started crying and legged it away. Very funny.

Some people are so paranoid about spiders. There's this girl at work who wears a multipronged hair clip while she's working, and every time I see her (I only work part-time) I pseudo-scream "Arrgh! Spider" and point to her hair. She never fails to go ape-shit! She hates me!

    I think he's cute...

Huntsman are harmless, it's the daddy long legs that you have to watch out for, they are reportedly the most venomous spiders on earth, but you'd be glad to know that their fangs are so short that they can't even pierce your skin...and thank heavens for that.

Huntsman come in the house after the rain and yes they're bloody huge up in Ballarat.

That myth has been busted my friend, the daddy long legs is not the most venomous. Most venomous spider in the world is the Sydney Male Funnel Web spider. They charge upto you and try to bite you if you stare at them and they can swim and survive in water for 1 hour!. Second is the Brazilian wondering spider which is also very venoumos. Biggest spider in the world is the Goliath Bird Eating Spider they prey on small mammals and reptiles. Most people that are scared of spiders buy one as a pet so they can get over there fear of them, maybe you should try getting one aye? lol

    Huntsman in my bathers...

Think i win this one hands down.. when i was about i put my bathers on and thought it was the tag tickling me so i reached down to move it.. then it kept tickling so i went to move the "tag".... then the "tag" walked onto my hand - dont think my mums ever heard my scream so loud in her entire life lol i ended up throwing it at the wall as hard as i could. i still feel bad coz i made my mum kill it lol

Moral of story - always check bathers for large hairy huntsmans
