ZWEET, .. that has to be the ultimate in "excreta occurs" .. good luck with whatever you decide to do ...
Gee's Scotty! sad to hear! I hope there is an inexpensive way out for you - and hope no rebuild is in order.
well with a crank that wont turn it must of seized soem thing. so a rebuild is in order of some sort. i smell, turbos/injectors/crazy cams/ cam gears/ HUUUGE HP and not enough clean undies.
damn, that sucks.. kinda feel bad bout taking your moola now! I don't think full comprehensive insurance would have covered it either. you gonna try rebuild it yourself?
This seems to have happened to several zedders since I joined the forum. Is this a particular fault of Zeds? Does it happen to other supercars? Are we all destined to be stopped by the mere sight of a puddle? So sorry to hear about your problems matey, good luck Geoff
went and saw not so zweet today.. all is well.. look on the bright side.. another super quick perth zed coming to a traffic light near you!! yeah... scotty didnt tell me he kept cranking the engine over till it seized.. wont be doing that again will ya?? definately broking.. ripping her out next week.. my crane will have pulled 4 engines by then (zeds engines that is) and not put a single zed engine back in yet.. hahahaha im really curious to see whats seized.. how much damage to a rod and piston a starter motor can do
BUGGER!! Looks like we need 4WD snorkels up the side of the A pillar Hope ur back on the road real soon m8.
Its because of where the air intake is Geoff. You increase the chances of sucking up water if you have a pod filter too. It sucks Scottie, but its always a good excuse to go nuts and build an animal! Just learn to drive it once its built; I don't want to hear that you've wrapped yourself and your zed around a tree!
