I am trying to souce some bits for an engine rebuild. parts i have so far are Wiseco forged pistons Eagle Forged Performance Rods Complete Nissan Gasket Kit New Nissan Rod and Main Bearings ARP Head/Main Stud Kit Is there anything else I need or should do while the engine is getting rebuilt performance or maintenance wise. I am chasing a reliable 300rwkw btw already done the 100,000k service and all the excess removal stuff
will be using a good head gaskit should have mentioned i guess. is it worth doing any head work or things like that while the engine is out?
Maybe extrude hone plenum and exhaust manis, get the valves re-ground, get new lifters and get bigger injectors (550 nismos at least). What turbos are you going to use?
I have got the SARD 650's to go in + a new fuel pump The turbos i am running are standard housings bored out with new GT28 internals. I basically just don't want to do a rebuild and then find out i have big restrictions because i forgot something. What effect would new lifters have if the current ones are good?
nothing restrictions in a stock setup?? start with the turbo manifolds, match port lower plenum to head, lower to upper plenum
