I like the way you can see all the threads and as you click on each, the full note comes up at the bottom of the sreen without opening another page. Makes for much faster browsing.

but it's crap how the threads are shown at the top

of the screen because when you read someones long thread, you have to scroll all the way back to the top to choose another one. Surely this can be changed?

  3. Marklar

    Marklar gruntled

    Agree, so far

In standard form this one is the nicest to use but I think phpBB2 has potential to be far better than the other two options if people are prepared to mod it (not me, I know nussing)

phpBB is very good when used to it's full potential.

    K-zed Secret Squirrel

    Patience Jono

Migrating data from the old format takes a while to set up.
I know some ppl are going a bit loopy without their daily forum fix (just look at Henpecked's post), but the new AUS will be back very soon.:):):)

    I agree

    This one seems the best

true, but how often that occurs could be reduced.. ie. by cutting a couple of lines off the size of the thread window and getting the thread window as high up the page as possible.

I guess the use of a seperate frame would fix it but for some reason most web developers don't like frames..

  12. 90TTZ

    90TTZ Back From The Dead

Yep second that :) I think I am actually enjoying this software more than the old CF one. Can't wait to see the final finished up and polished version. Maybe we should look at a new logo to use on the home page as well?
