You are right about the black headrests keeping the seats in proportion. You don't want to mess with one of the more distinctive things about the zed ie the stylish seats. BTW - I also sprayed my wipers front and back last month. It really freshens up the car. I also painted the black join under the sills which had become chipped and a bit bent in places. Its the small things that matter. And big performance:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Yes the seats are finished but Still waiting for the rest of the trim. The bloke who did an awesome job on my seats has quit and now it's up the shonky salesman/supposed upholsterer to finish the job, I'm worried I'll get a half arsed job now.
For those who want to retrim their interior Why hasnt anyone just painted the doors? Appart from being the hardest part to do they are already vynal...
new shop will continue work next monday Should have the finished interior back mid next week and I'll try fitting it the weekend after.
That looks like it will turn out great  Hey bob you wouldn't wanna help me paint my windscreen wipers??
Whooooohoooooo This is what i was confronted with last night. I was so excited I wanted to stay up all night and do it. Hopefully i can finish it before sunday.
Very Niiiiiiicccceee! You can't go wrong with the black/grey combo. that's going to look a real treat. can't wait to see it finished. I probably missed this on a previous post, but did all that end up costing much?? Price?? Cheers, Ben.
Electroplater, would you recommend it for interior trim as well I am planning to do electroplating on the plastic bits of my headlights. As they are the same plastic materials, well they both can be electroplated, cant they? Well, thought about retrimming with vinyl but if it can be done, why not just paint them or electroplate. Will they look ugly for the interior? Any experience or opinion?:unsure:
Plastic electroplated parts damage easily. The plastic used in the Z and its headlights isn't the ideal type of plastic to be electroplated.
