Dont have a VC2 but i had VC1 the piece off crap hit everything higher that a matchbox, had to get ridof it. The car had stock suspension then, rideing on 18" wheels.
Pretty sure C2 is lower I believe the C1 gives you around 100mm of ground clearance on a stock setup. On the other hand i think its around 80mm for the C2. I have C1 front bar also, and agree completely! you have to be very careful not to scrape going up driveway curbs etc! Mine has cracked and needs repair:wacko: Good old gaffer tape!:LOL: On top of that C2 has more overhang than C1, which doesnt help its cause for practicality. Will get thicker profile tyres when these ones wear out to give me a bit more clearance! C2 is still a really nice bar though
C2 is illegal with stock suspension!!!! - let alone anything lowered! Do yourself a favour, just enjoy looking at other people's C2 front bars cause you will get pinched for it. Here's an idea, check out how many of the forum members actually own the C2 front bar and use as a DD?? - not many. Out of the 4,700 odd members, you'll be able to count them on one hand.
i have the c2 kit and yes it is very low 80mm i have 18s on it ,but when i measure to the bottom of the stock front exhaust pipes even that is only 105mm my car apears to have stock suspension , is that the normal hight
yeah i agree and in sydney i have seen at least 10 Zs that have the C2 I THINk it kills the rareness of the bodykit now because of cheap bodykits most people have that kit and it doesent make the bodykit rare anymore yeah that kit is very very low i took it for a spin the 1st time after i got it installed and it hits almost anything + it cant even go on a hoist easily nearly cracked the kit
yeah thats what i want I want the c2 front and c1 skirts + back. But waiting on jap.com.au they said i have to wait like 6 weeks or something. I dont know if they will do a custom kit for me for the same 450$ price either so meh...
sounds like a good idea i think the c2 side skirts are atleast 1 cm lower that the front and back bars
