Nissan Prices

    Hey guys,
    Visted Nissan Genuine Parts yesterday...
    Thought i would just post up the prices of a few things i asked for..Man they are expensive!!

    Din Slot $47.75
    Rear wiper arm and blade ~$200
    Bonnet rubber support thingys $8.30ea (ended up getting a pair of these as i needed them anyway)
    Heater core and Tap $667 (Core $545, Tap $122)
    Window seals nears the top of the window ~$300ea

    and lastly my favourite...
    Steering wheel (without the pad) $2000!!!!

    Anyway thought i would just let you know...and laugh at the rediculous price of the wheel :LOL::LOL::LOL:

    Yer there outa controll! Had to buy a sump gasket

    for my 4x4 nissan $110, what a ripoff!:thumbsdown:

    have you compared the prices to another nissan spare parts in aust at all?

    I got 2 different prices from 2 dealers for wheel bearings. one was $390 per side and the other was $247 per side big difference..

    I just ended up getting the aftermarket ones way less and was back on the road within a week!

    also, you can get a Heater Core from Phillip Radiator Service in Canberra, WAY!!!! Cheaper than what you've been quoted or what it would cost to get from OS.

    i got my din pocket from nissan or $32.. all all the small little clippings

    for the fascia for like $2-4 area

    Try Nissan for diff friction modifier, $82.10 for about 100mls :wacko:

    I went to Bursons and ordered some Redline for under $22. Who needs a gun and a mask when you can use a Nissan franchise instead :angry:

    What about non nissan genuine parts

    Had a 260Z priced a set of steering boots genuine $160 non gen $75 the storeman said no diffrence just the name

    Dont worry im not getting any parts from Nissan...if im really gonna get something it will be from COZ...
    Just thought i would freak ya's out with the prices :eek:..

    good point .. the quote from nissan, gold coast for core/tap, when

    replacing my core, was around $475 ....

    I thought i remembered you saying it was around $400 something for the heater core and tap Baz...
    thats why i was thinking...what the hell...are genuine parts different at every dealership..??!??

    Im gonna get an aftermarket one anyway..stuff replacing it with a Nissan one..it's prob gonna shit itself again down the track..

    To the extent that we have to pay nissan USA.... no wonder the economy is bad.. us car lovers send $$ to usa and japan!

    I needed engine rebuild parts and i could have spat at them!

    I wanted the auto tensioner from Unley Nissan.. $478 :sick:

    I wanted the engine mounts :sick: $285 each

    My $$ went to america! AS MUCH AS I HATE TO THINK OF IT!
