Re: Jees all the ppl looking for manuals... HERE's ONE Hi Paul I feel your pain. I can't believe a hot Zed like yours is STILL on the market. (As you know my domestic situation doesn't allow for a new toy - DAMMIT!!!!) You might want to consider listing it on Ebay. I've sold a car on there before. Maybe Autotrader may be an option as well? Cheers.
Z I would be interested in buying it.. if it were in QLD or Melb... I would fly and drive it back after a quick crash course in manual... WA seems like tooo big a drive =) and not sure about transportation costs..
I'm the same as Maurth..being in WA makes it a little too far away Looks like a very decent car though..if it were in Qld I'd definately check it out  Just keep the word out there and it will sell!
Re: I'm the same as Maurth..being in WA makes it a little too far away you could always transport the car i have read about this, and a few members have done it before. i dont think it was to expensive...few hundred Or i could drive it to yah for the cost of petrol + ticket back lol i was thinking about putting it on ebay but not sure about it might resurch it a bit more today..
Re: I'm the same as Maurth..being in WA makes it a little too far away With Ebay you can set the reserve, have a no reserve auction or set a starting bid and have people submit the 'best offer'. Plus you can post up to twelve photo's as well .... Definately worth taking a look at .....
RE: Paul, When are you going back to canada? You could drive to syd, then fly straight out =) All the while you'd have transport to the airport in style.. unless your luggage is huge =) - Only thing id be worried about taking the car would be whether I could maintain it as well as you have!
Transportation Costs lol Perth to Sydney is about 4000km i think that it would be cheaper to get it transported then the cost of petrol over that distance.. anyway i just looked up one company about transportation and this is what i got. ohh also this is depo to depo if you drop the car off and pick it up it will be alot cheaper!! Please use our quotation reference TCT10011 in any contact with us. Vehicle Uplift Perth depot [you bring vehicle to] 310 Treasure Road Welshpool WA Vehicle Delivery Sydney depot [you collect vehicle from] 1 Marple Avenue Villawood Sydney Transportation time Approximately 8 working days. Our Quotation: $815.00 - inclusive of GST and All Risk Insurance to the value of $40,000.00 or market value
RE: Paul, Ive had a look at the process of importing a vehicle from a different state and added up some costs. 11.5k for the car 815 for transport 300 for rego 300 for stamp duty 571 for CTP 751 3rd party property (comprehensive blows me out of the water) Blue/Pink slip - not sure but told WA standards are lower than NSW, will have to call around and get some quotes.. All up, that comes to me for about 15k. my max budget was 15.5k (and currently no hours at work- im a casual..) If I was working id have no problems.. but yeah.. costs are killing me, and no $$ for anything else. Ill keep looking into ways that I could possibly get it.. but I highly doubt it at the moment =( Sorry mate. All the best with the sale..
RE: totaly understand your situation on the other hand i realy need to sell my car asap lol. if ur serious about the car or ur situation changes give me a pm or a call. I am getting to the point where i am willing to consider any options.
RE: This car is immaculately detailed, and if your looking for a great NA this is it. Good luck with the sale dude.
In a pickle Ive seen 2 people vouch for this car which to me is a very positive response. Though im curious about the condition/problems, previous problems, (crash history, engine, suspension, cooling, etc) if its possible to get a check on it somehow (No offence intended.. but all savings into one car is a big step for me). As I can't see the car in person, id like to know what others think of it? or if theres previous inspection reports? (books on the car?) - targa bags? (spare wheel?) owners manual? (Anything I should expect to fork out $$$ in the near future.. petrol doesnt count)(If it doesnt take to much of your time) - Continue with trying to sell it, cause if you get the right price don't hold back. (Im still partially in jepordy..) - If you put it up for sale somewhere else though let me know. Also is there any pitfalls of the 89' model? (I havnt seem to have found many cept the series one PTU) I was looking at 1990, 1991 ones before.. but believe they still had the series one PTU n e how.. (Sorry so many questions ringing in my head atm - I feel noobie..) If anyone knows any other cost with transporting from 1 state to another in terms of rego, or my stupidty for over looking something, can you let me know, I don't have too much flexibility with cash atm, though after I grovel at work for hours.. im sure I can make some cash.. Thanks in advance all! Tim p.s. Don't have manual license yet, so have 2-3 months of working on her (learning to drive manual) - will get someone who can drive manual to drive from villawood to my place.
This is wrong Have been watching this thread and cant believe what i'm seeing. Is there nobody in W.A who wants this? Look at all the NSW people killing themselves over this Mate, you have to advertise this more in W.A...... surely at this price:wacko: My condolences
Re: This is wrong thanks for all the support guys :zlove: i realy wish i could take this with me lol but it just aint gona happen.. but on the bright side i found a few zeds in canada
