Pleasure meeting you too Pete, Ya Dickhead  Nissan/Datsun Nationals, my partner in crime and I are already planning on attending that one although my Zed won't be going, I'll take a plane to Sydney and go Zed style from there:thumbsup: Cheers Mate, Karl (Dickheads Anonymous)
so would you still be eligible for longest distance travelled....? Or do the rules state that you have to travel the whole distance in a Zed. I can't wait!! This time last week i think i was in Mudgee having lunch... 8 or so Zeds lining the streets representing the Sydney Crew... ohh i miss it!!
About this time last week we were all in Warwick havin a Ball  I also miss it :zlove: I WANNA GO AGAIN
Maybe some DICKHEAD will organise a cruiZe  Oh, that must be me Keep May 7th FREE & watch Coming Events.
A few extra Coona photos, just a sample for now>>> Coona Zed fest at Matthew Flinders Motel After the awards night presentations, let the party begin Fate, if the car won't start, WHO YA GUNNA CALL??? As always Fate offering a helping hand!! and the bunny man enjoying breakfast!! We all know the Zed lights arn't the best, but this is a bit over the top!! Now let's get serious, how about putting your backside in this (yes please) Mysteries of the night Hope you enjoy, will have more later, maybe not totally Zed related Cheers, John and Marilyn
AWESOME PICS  Love the pic of the Satellite  But those pics of me and the NRMA LOVE IT hehehe:thumbsup: Loved meeting you Can't wait to meet you again
A few more photos to enjoy with a bit of a twist>>> "We're on the road again" " Needed to wash the car anyway" " Eat my Dust" "I see the problem" but where does it go!!! "That must have had a funny ending!!" Don't think they were discussing Zeds! "Ther's always one in a crowd" Good fun to be around " Now where did you say we were?" I know where I am - lost!! Till next time, CYA John P
Fraid so Rob, see the way I see it is... It's bound to be 5 o'clock somewhere... oh, and why wait all that time till you can have a liquid lunch ... when you can just have a liquid breakfast instead?!! Naa, I was just REEEEEALY into the Zed spirit the whole weekend - or is that Zed spirits..?!
Better late than never .... Not much point in showing the same pix that others have, but here's a few more anyway: This was about 7:30am on Friday, about 10 minutes later it was raining that hard I wanted another speed on the wipers! At least the weather at and around Coona couldn't be faulted while we were there :thumbsup:. A fair bit has been said about Tim's bad luck with his wheel cracking. 'Twas a nasty one, going all the way through the metal. Left front stockie for sale, cheap!!!! Black Baz won the golf - but he was playing with assistance. I'm sure there was something in the RZM 2006 Golf Rulebook about not being allowed to play with a zoo in your bag!! There's car enthusiasts everywhere you go. A couple of locals that dropped in for a look at our 300's included this Sunbeam Talbot convertible in mint condition, which would have to date back to the 50's, and a 240Z which sounded a bit different - it was motivated by a Leyland P76 V8 motor. Great!!! Another couple of local enthusiasts were Rachael and her husband, who dropped in with their 300. Here K-zed leads the maintenance crew doing the once-over on theirZ. Don't know if they were aware of or read the forum before our visit, but they know about it now. As well as the 300, they own the rods posted up elsewhere, and I heard they also had a Pontiac and a Beemer! A big thanks to them for lending Tim a wheel to get home on :thumbsup::thumbsup: Keza was one of those trying to uphold the reds honour - looking good Kerry. Benny Blipman had fitted and painted his vented bonnet, skirts and had his Z looking very good. Looking good, Ben! Here's another pic of the group shot at Siding Springs Observatory - taken from the other direction. I was a PSA on that run, not realising that the group pic was gonna happen - there's at least 2 Zeds that were present not in the pic, dammit! I reckon standing on the railing up high on the Observatory would've made for a great group shot! The telescope inside the Observatory. "Go this way", says Rob ... "No, that way", giving us directions for the cruise following the break at the Observatory. Hayles leads a battery of black Zeds, putting the reds where they belong - up front. (PS - please, no-one mention that I was hanging out of Jack's black Zed when I took that pic ...) Someone practised their finger painting skills on Etaf/Fate's car - was it Sean himself??? Why was it so dirty?? See below .... Getting close to home now, and Mad Max was keen to get a pic at the border. At least this time there no cops just before the bridge running me through an RBT - they had already done that. They flagged me down, and waved the other 6 through! Thanks for waiting though guys. It was a fantastic weekend, as usual, over too soon. looking forward to IB's Zeden run, next years Z Nats, maybe a trip to Wakefield ..... It was great to catch up with old faces and meet a fair few new ones. CheerZ guys and gals, till next time :thumbsup::zlove:.
Pity the person behind Fate as he fishy'd the entire dirt road  Oh..thats right it was me and Richo ! with the lids off and all  :LOL::LOL::LOL:
I was swearing and cursing you at first, while we could still breathe! then we were just laughing. As soon as we hit that dirt I knew it would be too much for you to resist Fate, you didnt seem to throw rocks luckily but was beautifully slippery  What a hoot that weekend was
Never mind Caz... I was the car in front of Sean and I thought for sure a couple of times he was going to clip my rear end:LOL::LOL:
Surprised I didn't get flamed For:- a. Overtaking on wrong side down from Siding Springs... b. Leading you all on a part dirt-road cruiZe  and .... c. The hay-baler taking up all of my road as I crested a rise on that bloody beaut road to Tooraweena (sp?) ... I nearly crapped myself :sick::LOL::LOL::LOL: As for ETAF... did anyone notice that Sean's Zed remained unwashed the entire weekend!
