Need a couple of cheap BOVs for a temporary arrangement till i get some good ones. Have been looking around on ebay, does anyone have any recommendations?
I got BOV's for around $120 each @ Autobarn, they have worked fine. Needed to make an adapter kit, but this cost me about $10 at a local Pertek shop.
im in the same situation i was looking for good cheap blow off valves but was advised against it... Sure you can find a few decent ones and be lucky but the majority are crap. The old man bought $100 ones from supercheap and they seem to running ok at about 13psi but was told if you boost the crap out of your car they are no good. I went down to autoabrn in the city and managed to get a pair of these http://www.gofastbits.com.au/index....&sub_option=bovs&sub_sub_option=bovus_maximus for $500 they were out of my price range too but after getting a saving of over $50 each its worth it.. all depends on how much cash you have in the end. Im not sure how these BOV's rate http://www.tweakit.net/shop/product_info.php?products_id=488&detail=true but they seem alright for the price
recomendations! I recomend not buying cheep, badly made, waste off money and time Bov's. Save up and get something decent!
get GFB Bovs they set me back about $440. Sound REAL loud and have 3 options. plumbback, atmospheric+plumback, atmospheric. (i use middle one). They are great, handle heaps of boos (im on 22PSI/1.4bar) and are loud as @ high boost!
bov's just ordered some from caz1, GFB hybrids, should be awesome, will let every1 know how they are on the zed
