Hi everybody!! I just saw a 300zx with this website on it's window and i wanted to know who's it was so i could ask him what the hell is under his bonnet. I drive a 90' Sylvia and I used to (up until this morning) think it was pretty quick. But this morning I just got OWNED! Black 300 with rims which I swear are off a ferrari, fairly low and a front spoiler which looks different from stock...but it may be a later model. Saw it in Chatswood this morning driving north. No number plate on the front AB-something on the back. Kept trying to make push to go button but he didn't seem to interested then at the lights at monavale rd he just let it all go...AWESOME!!! Quickest thing I've seen on the roads. Little to say I didn't see him after that. I've been told the 300zx is fat, slow and expensive to own. But damnit I'm a believer now. How much for one that'll go that hard?
dont feel bad mate. since i have had my z in bunbury ive only been "owned" by one other car...that other fukken white z that lives around the corner from me...i think he is on here??? lol...
Welcome to the Forum  Mate, do yourself a favour, come along for a Z cruise. Quite often we have cruises in which we usually get a decent number of zeds together, pick a destination and drive there for lunch. I'm sure someone would offer you a PSA position (Passenger seat accessory). You'll soon see how much of a rocket these machines are. All within the speed limits of course. Suprised we haven't seen more people loggin on with your same response actually. The amount of people that get left behind at the lights, i guess they don't have time to check out the stickers though now do they Welcome aboard, and enjoy your stay. Fate... hehehe It's rainin, i'm goin driftin.
Welcome Bender, another common name for our beloved Zeds are 'Boats' ...but the funny thing is, the only people that call them that - are ones that haven't driven a twin turbo Zed before :zlove: I'm far from what you would call a hoon, - but i will freely admit to having a few line-ups at the lights with skylines, soarers, wrx's, HSV's, etc... (the quickest to get to the speed limit of course..) and i've NEVER been beaten. - i know there are far quicker cars than mine, but i've just never lined up next to one yet. Maybe one day, you'll have the pleasure of driving a twin turbo Zed yourself - and sorry to say mate, there is no cure for the bug once you get it!!! :zlove:
expensive to own maybe, but fat and slow, definately not!! JT won the 2003 QR sprint series for his class in a 300ZX. I am aiming to do the same this year. Anyone who says a 300ZX is fat and slow, doesn't race cars seriously for a hobby. Also, look at John Penlington's 300ZX. Consistently fastest car at track days in sydney vs Skyline GTRs.
Yep that was me. GT2530's X 2 (seee you only have one) 555cc injectors HKS SMIC's Rebuilt Engine Custom tune all adds up to (to use your words) Being OWNED!!!
i have owned a few cars before, all to their surprise quite funny when you beat them and they just look at you like.. your cheating.. you guys know what im talking about.. theyre in disbelief they got waxed by a 300zx boat lol ive beaten 2 300zxtt's too, both off this forum time to get ready for work =(
no-one said you had to make sense on this forum... maybe he meant "trying to make him push the go button"? Although I prefer to use a peddle. But thats my own preference...maybe sylvia's have buttons?
btw where is bender? one post and dissapears? maybe i didn't reply soon enough for him. Impatient bloody nissan drivers... :embarrassed:
