Hi all, My Cruise control has decided to play up, Was working fine, then canceled for toll gate on M2 and won't activate. Pressing set button, light comes on then goes off, same with resume button. After afew ties activate light no longer comes on. Tried recycling CC, tried stopping and restarting engine. Even tried disconnecting battery overnight. No luck!! Engine has been out, is it possible actuation cable is loose or is this likely a controller issue?
I had issues with mine when the cancel button was jammed on, it's hard to notice from the driving position because it doesnt push in very far. But considering your cruise lights were playing up to :unsure:
Sounds plausible.. Both times this has happened (first was only temporary) have been when using cancel button, usually just hit brake pedal! Will check it out!! Thanks
I had a problem with mine and it turned out to be a plug not seated on the driver's side near the the firewall.
Looks like next step! All the simple remedies have been eliminated.. this looks like the only alternative left.. will perform the diagnostics from the manual!
