Hey. Just wondering, how much petrol you guys go through?

I just got my car back from having it all fixed up nicley. New o2 sensors, boost leaks fixed etc.

I get 350km out of a full tank. (they 55 liter tanks?)

I dont drive on free ways, and i am going to the city a fair bit. So lots of traffic lights! :/

This sound right? or do i have a problem somewhere? I was told i could get 500+km a tank. this just BS? or true?

This question has been asked almost every day, recently.

Your fuel tank holds 72 litres. There is still a considerable quantity of fuel in the tank when the gauge reads "Empty".

you have around 12 litres remaining in your tank when the gauge

hits "E" .. my latest check, today, on a mixture of very short drives around town, 240 km, and 150 km on the m1/logan motorway returned 7.25 litres per 100 km ...

    :thumbsdown::thumbsdown::(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:wacko::wacko:

that is amazing baz. i'm geussing its because its black.
the best i can get to date is 11.8 litres per 100km.
i wish i could get it down to at least 10 litres per 100.
well its down from when i bought it as it was getting between 15-17 litres per 100.

this is with your na right 'dbcar;?? I seem to get around 12 - 13L per 100k

city driving. Havent tested out the highway though but i can get about 300km out of 38L. But as you can tell with the figures i keep the car below 2000 at all times and dont need to accelerate unless i have to. Not bad aye for twin turbo thats running pretty rich.

i have kept all my figures for about 9 months ... all scribbled on receipts

shoved in my console .. hardly efficient !!!.. planning one day to drag them all out and do a long term calculation .. today's figure was about the best i have obtained and followed a recent tightening of all fuel lines after a fuel vapour discovery plus replacement of a stuffed a/c belt tensioner .. don't know whether these "fixes" would have assisted or not ...????

    400k's

don't leave it til empty use about 48litres

i've gotten 16L for 100k's rather consistantly. I'd love to get 10L per 100k's as well, that'd be perfect.

I'm gonna try and keep the revs under 2000 at all times, but that's gonna be real hard.

Black Baz that is just amazing!!! those sorta figures are mini hatchback material!! my mates mirage gets that on 91 octane.
