Hi guys, Firstly I'd like to apoligise if this is the wrong forum to post this sort of thing in. I'd like to take a little time and introduce myself to you all on this site, as I have just got home from purchasing a 1993 300zx TT. I took along my cousin, who is also a member of this forum (who i hope will be reading this and saying hi), who determined that this 300 was the pick of the litter for me. The car is a 1993 TT 300zx, 2-seater, automatic, leather seats, 17" ARP rims, 7" DVD and in-car theater setup, and all the other luxurious features that come standard with these amazing vehicles... I am quite excited about pampering the new (fair)lady in my life. Thats about it for now guys, i would rather not be a stranger in this forum, here to learn alot and take care of my car the best i can with all your combined years of experience and passion. All the best guys. Sean.
Welcome to the Forum Sean. I guess you must be pretty excited about owning your car and the enjoyment of driving it. They are wonderful looking cars and an experience to own. The people on the Forum are very knowledgeable and helpful as well. All the best for the future. Cheers. Clive.

Welcome m8 Have a read through our tech section. There is a wealth of knowledge, plus tips and tricks to keep your baby running smooth, with the minimum of knowledge, and money and fuss. Also, there are ways to disable some of the annoying "features" included by the japs (like the 105km speed chime warning haha).
well done and welcome .. suggested first mod .. go for a black respray ....!!!!:thumbsup::LOL::LOL::wacko::wacko:
Congratulations man! I barely notice the 105 siren, over the exhaust, the sound of wind in my hair, and now the stereo system. Although I haven't driven past 105km since i got the stereo in.
Thats a nice colour the silver. Happy zedding mate, if you want to avoid alot of the future headaches, do as much preventative maintnance as you can.

Thanks heaps for your warm welcome guys!!! Heya fellas, What a warm way to be greeted by all of you. Thankyou all very much. Well, not much progression with getting my car yet... It is being taken in to be RWC'ed tomorrow (wednesday) to pass all the tests and haven everything that needs to be fixed up all done before the car comes into my possession. I am hoping to pick it up on Friday after work sometime (pending time at the mechanic) then take her straight to have all the fluids and filters replaced in the car. This is mainly for my peace of mind and also so i know, from the first day, how accurate and up to date I can service my vehicle. Ant has made up a full shopping list for the specific fluids and filters that i need, so I will have to organise a big shopping spree for tomorrow night!! Hopefully by Friday night, I will have full possession of the 300, i will have changed all my fluids and filters, and lastly to get to know my 300 alot better. As far as i know, all the annoying "features" of a fresh import have already been sorted for me, no 105kph warning tones or only being able to listen to AM. Lastly, Baz, I love the look of a black Z, but I'm afraid it would remind me of my cousin's former road rocket.. and i dont need comparsions of my stock Z to Ant's black beast!! Cheers fellas, and nice to meet you all. Sean
If you want to save some $$$$$s.......>> Get a hold of Mikey (RedZedMikey) and get your oil and filters from him. He can get good prices from Valvolene for oil, oil filters and fuel filters.
