Nats down on entrants and quality this year due to Cronulla apparently I don't know if it's true or not, as sadly I have lived my life whilst another Summernats has come and gone without me. From what I've been told though, Summernats this year was severely down on entrants and quality cars due to the fear from car owners that racial riots may break out during the four day festival. I guess if I had even a slight concern about that occuring I wouldn't want my pride and joy in any imminent danger either.
Just got home from Summernats.... Must say it was an awesome event, really nice cars and no violence at all. The blown HZ went crazy in the final of the burnout comp and hit the wall about 8 times!!! The guy kept on the gas the whole time and the NOS!!! Also the Dyno Comp was awesome, VX Commodore Twin Turbo, ended up producing 1260 RWHP then went up in flames on the final run, was right there, bloody unreal!!! Will post some pics when I get around to it. Oh.. and Franz, plenty of boobs my friend Cheers Rowan
Well been just an Integra.... I'd say Hey has the one stock pipe front to back and a rear bodykit with 5 exhaust tips stuck on to it that don't any further back then the fibreglass their mounted in ??? Serious car owners do up preludes or NSX... and now S2000.. no one REALLY does up an integra ? It's sort of like doing up an EXA instead of a 180 Ahhh the joys of over doing it 4 twin looking pipes... would have looked hot 2 massive tips, one working one not like on the High Octane Honda CRX... sweeeeet 6 $2 shop exhaust tips on a bodykit, looks so fake, it makes you stop, look and wait for something else to fall off the car
Just wondering if you guys realise... ...that that car was BKDFKP - was one of the nicest show cars in Australia a few years back. Featured heavily in Auto Salon car shows and also in Autosalon magazine. Although obviously not everyones tastes, the owner had to do something wild to stick out at these car shows. 6 tips is just one of those things. There has been some serious money spent on that Integra - don't mistake it with the regular $hitboxes that ricers do up to look cool in front of their fulll sik mates!!
I know what you're saying about this car, but you can't say serious people do up preludes, not integras. The prelude is a psuedo sports car whereas the integra (in typr r form) is touted as one of the best handling fwd drive cars ever made
I agree with you, Integras are better than preludes Preludes is not really sports car from factory to begin with. But obviously pouring money into it will change things.
Never mentioned Type R - Cause was 1st Integra replacment for Prelude stop Type R had its roof raised 20cm to allow better helmet clearence...also rated 2nd Bang for your Buck car after Porsche boxster, and while it look no where near as sporty or muscly as other cars in its range, its drive was spectacular... my good mate at work had one of the first ones... very comfy seats and great response from steering wheel...having owned almost all one of each of the Hondas and driven a mates NSX which isn't worthy cause of what you get for the $200K price tag is nothing much more then an S2000 engine just much better looks for $120K odd more BUT ANYWAY i meant OLD Integra's Type R's were suppose to be Integra with Prelude technology, the preludes were the Z's the Integra's the skylines, the type R broke the mold Pre Type R Integra's (again from my own experience with 4 honda cars and 2 honda motorbikes) was that they Integra's were nothing more then a 4 door civ (with a little more kick, but nothing to write home about) Handling is nothing compared to type R and found the prelude just a nicer all round "finished" package that even seemed to corner much faster ??? maybe due to it been a little lower and wider ??? And not the last version of the prelude as that was again revamped to be more sedan then sport To hard to compare... forget it the Z kicks all there butts
Remember you guys all talking about the 6 exhaust pipes. These pics are taken from Auto Salons Final Battle, December last year. Again, not everyones tastes but you can see how much work has gone into this car - its not your everyday rice mobile! Not to mention good to see it being driven!!
Same car ,Homebush Megacruise 2 mths later pics > Ouch! Damage didnt happen on the cruise. The cruise was promoted at Autosalon and lots of the show cars attended, good to see they are driven not just shown. My littlies cruised with me that day and Jack was facinated with the artwork on Robs car, he took LOTs of very close pics! Hmmm...
Re: Same car ,Homebush Megacruise 2 mths later pics > dammmm u can also see the front bar is cracked hard on the integra
