When I accelerate on half throttle the gears seem to shift really rough.

I have recently found that this problem disapears if I have the OD off. Is this a common problem and does anyone think it is Gearbox related? I had the Gearbox fully O/H about eight months ago.

I assume the Z was changing from first into OD, hence the rough gear change.

Might also pay to check your Throttle Positioning Sensor

is adjusted correctly. This can have an effect on auto trans shift points...

Turn off the "POWER" because it holds the gears at higher revs, the car

jolts a little between gear changes when just cruising and not gunning it.

    Hope this helps.
