It's basically the same as with the Auto's.

Turn the cruise on at the right hand pod/cluster doover, then hit the button on the steering wheel when you're in gear and the speed you want. If it isn't working that way, you've got something wrong!

Might be neutral switch not connected----->

very common with manual conversions... also check clutch disengage switch is intact...

    yep all myself

Over the last couple of months i did the conversion, new turbos, 100,000k service and a whole bunch of other preventitive maintenance stuff.

I previously had bought a wrecked zed and got all the parts from it. I is not actually that hard to do, just very time consuming.

    ah excellent

can i ask how much you picked up the whole wrecked zed for? i'm just about to lay some cash down for the gearbox... wondering if it isn't that must more (for the total conversion) i should get a wrecked one or half cut...

i would definitely recomend the front cut

I picked the full zed up for $4000 but i think you could get the front cut sell the engine and come out pretty well.

I would have to say though that if you pay someone to to the conversion it will cost you a fair bit more. If you can do it yourself and you have a bit of time i would definitely say do it.
