Especially the bang for buck. I was dubious after having had the NS1s on the MX6 and they were shit but the guys at Penrith Tyres kept saying they were such good value and heaps better than . I have given them a thorough testing on the twisties already and cant complain yet even going as far saying they are better than the Bridgies I had on, but then then had had a thrashing. $150 a trye for 235/45/17 didnt seem to bad. Next set will be semi slicks so I will save the $ for then. MattB
NANKANGS on back Hey Matt, i got a set of Nankang 265/35/18 for the back about a week before the blue mountains cruise and they performed pretty damn well. They were $250 each which i am told isnt a bad deal. I have never heard of the brand before though. Let me know how yours wear in. Cheers Andrew
Hope they are better than they used to be I had Nankangs on my work Merc about 18 months ago. They were noisy and the grip was crap, especially for 235 18s. At least they last forever...
Nankangs Have just had front 235/35/19 Falkens replaced with Nankangs and can't seem to get rid of vibration at 105-110kmh. Never had this with the Falkens. Both wheels and suspension have been 'adjusted' twice...vibration still there. Same dealer I have used for yonks, and same supplier of Falkens. Anyone had this with Nankangs?? 19s are around $320 mark against $430 for Falkens, so there is a saving...but not with wheel vibration!!:|
I have Nankangs  255/40/R17 rear paid 180 each They work well too, better than my Kuhmo 711's that cost like 230 each for the rear
Had the opposite! My Brigdies had the car wobbling at 95kms/hr the NANKANGS smooth as a babies arse! Check the balancing or have you done that already. Weights on the inside is apparently the go with big wheels. They stay on and balance better. Mattb:thumbsup:
