well me and karla spent the day at queensland raceway for the QLD 300, pics were taken with a CANON 350D my new toy when i get some spare money together. was a good day took 202 pics here are the better ones out the 202 lol. :thumbsup:
What awesome photo's Aza :thumbsup: That looks like a great day of racing. The V8's look tough and I love the one of the lone Lotus(was it?)in the sandtrap! Was that the Capa ute in a couple of the pics?? The sound of that ute at the Drift Nationals was pure adrenalin.....Thanx for posting them.
Top pics watched the race on channel 10 go the Fords, How about the Jason Richards crash amazing how he walked away from that, it was huge!

the sardine V8 as you put it are >> fairly new i think only seen em last year at indy and this year at the QLD 300. they have a 1500cc i think the guy said in them not sure how much they weigh but wouldnt be much and they go like a shower of sh%# lol. will prob post some video footage from the day also havent checked that out yet, but before i edit and post that ill be posting footage from our last track day here.
So far as I'm aware, those "Mini" cars are from a NZ idea using a space-frame chassis with a fibre-glass "caricature" body. Not sure of the engine size, but the power-to-weight ratio is phenominal.
